"Awwww... we're not going to the big one?"

Dave shrugged. "The orbital station one? RealDreams World? No... too damn big. We'd need a week off from work and to make reservations." He pointed at the store the size of an old twenty-first century Megamall. "The local standard size outlet is just fine." They pulled up directly to the front of the store and got out of the van as the valet, a Lurch, came over. "Hello Lurch."

"*Groan* helloooo Misterrr Staaark," Lurch said in his slow monotone. "Ooone moooment," He drawled and pulled out a device and shrank their vehicle tiny. Picking it up carefully he put it in a tiny locker and handed them their valet ticket. "Enjoooy yooour visiiit *Groan*."

Dave took their valet ticket. "Thank you, Lurch! Always good to see you!" They waved to Lurch as they entered the store and got on the moving walkway.

"I wonder what they did before the Pym particle valet service?" Harley said.

Tink laughed. "Apparently back in the day they had parking lots that were mega huge and some folks got their VIP memberships just to get the chauffeur service that went with it for that pupose. They didn't have the moving walkways as standard then either. I guess it got so bad with VIP shuttles and carriages that it lead to traffic jams in the actual stores ten years ago and so the moving walkways became the thing. Change of subject... should we get a Lurch?"

Dave thought about that. "Hmmmm... that's worth considering. Need to think about that. We will seriously need some help. Lurchs are pretty good..."

Harley laughed. "You already got someone in mind!" She slapped him on the back. "Come on let's go then!"

They started to make their way to the main character store avoiding all the side areas... though they did sign up for the daily, weekly and monthly raffles. Looked like today someone would be taking home a Vanessa Enoteca. The other drawings were themed as well. "Back to School" featuring teachers and their former students and, to Tinks excitement, a "Summer chills" themed one since they were already hyping up for the Halloween season.

"You can always tell when it's the week after Unification Day," he said.

Harley shrugged. "They already started putting up the winter stuff. They do it the day after Summer Solstice now."

Tink grumped crossing her arms sotting on Daves shoulder. "That junk finally passed the Halloween stuff. It's ridiculous! Halloween should get the same treatment six months in advance!"

Dave chuckled and gave her a kiss on the head. "Everyday is Halloween with you my dear." That made her happy and they stepped into the main RealDreams area where Characters were sold.

The place was busy as always but as was usual for RealDreams they were quickly approached by a sales associate. "Hello and welcome to RealDreams," said the lovely young Asari. "Genryne V'tilis is my name. How can we help you today? Would you be interested in hearing about today's sales? We're having a sale on Konosuba stock up to 50% off select models while suplies last!"

Dave smiled. "Sure why not look? We'd also like to look at several other models in a list we compiled under our customer database."

"Certainly! We'd be glad to help with that let's get you all settled at a terminal over here," she said leasing the way while showing them the sale characters. Dave half interestedly scrolled through. Seemed most all of the "sale stock" of "good" ones was gone. As usual, even on Sale Aqua was still too expensive for people to justify putting up with. That was the problem... some characters were definitely "aquired tastes". Still every character had their fans. Looks like several people, groups and corporations had bought a bunch. Everyone loves a sale. "Wait who's this one? I don't recognize her- oh, nevermind."

Tink and Harley looked and started laughing. "Guess Kazuma ain't selling well even as a chick," Harley chuckled while Tink shook her head. "Wow. His numbers are the worst!"

Genryne shrugged. "He wasn't selling well as a guy either. So someone had the bright idea to 63 a bunch. They sold better... but not by much, if I'm being honest. Here you are." She seated them at the terminal. "And I've already called up your saved list from the database. Is there anything else I can do for you?"

They shook their heads. "Not right this moment thank you."

Genryne smiled. "I'll leave you to it then and please don't hesitate to call for assistance!"

"So who are we gonna start with for helping around our new home?" Harley asked.

Tink nodded. "And who are going to be our special projects?"
