Chapter 6 by BiBiComte BiBiComte

Where's that?

....uh, the mall?

"Yeah. Yeah!" A bird disappeared into a tree. "The mall."

Larry rubbed his chin, stepping over a clanking set of soda cans.

The mall.

Why was it always the mall?

When he got there, Larry stopped at the entrance and scanned the vicinity. He wanted to ensure no security would eye him up. Plenty of people came through here with backpacks -- students, for one. Technically, he counted.

He was just here to do homework.

Here, in a teeming, buzzing sea of noise.

The teen stepped through the automatic sliding doors, wedged in between a few chatty groups of prime time shoppers armed with wallets and parents' credit cards, and looked around. There was a motherly looking woman sitting on a bench by the center of the walkway, tapping on her phone, a group of cute looking girls his age with bags across their wrists in front of the hallway to the restrooms, and a massage parlor with some eye-pleasing Asian girls in short sleeved uniforms getting to work inside. One was in the middle of a karate chop down a faceless man's back.

"Damn, wouldn't mind some of that," Larry stretched.

Because invasively altering the perceptions of random strangers before which he had never met en masse was heavy duty labor, everyone knew that.

Who to shoot up?
