some more talking, some naming, and a trip to town

When I awoke it was a little past dawn and hearing my hosts downstairs I decided to join them, throwing off my blanket I stretched my entire body almost clawing the floor when my claws slipped from my toes, already wearing my only clothing item I tried to go down the stairs which quickly proved far more awkward then going up them had proven the night before, getting downstairs I saw the 3 of them eating and talking, they quickly noticed me and Marcus gestured for me to join them as he stood to grab me a plate while Cassidy was willing to look at me again she started blushing when ever she did, sitting down Marcus handed me a plate with scrambled eggs and some dense rye bread, as I digged in Henry stopped eating and looked me saying "so I told them about you not having a name and what we should call you, any preferences?" I finished chewing a bite of eggs before saying "do any of you have a problem with Sienna?" none of them had a problem with and having newly been named we continued eating.

Having finished eating we sat down and talked about what we were going to do, Marcus spoke first "someone needs to go into town and let everyone know about the raiding party incase there are others." everyone quickly agree before I spoke next "so you all know I believe those goblins might have come from a dungeon." the 3 had very worried expressions, Henry spoke next "if that's true then we need to let the hunters guild know as soon as possible." Cassidy and Marcus agreed with him before I asked "what's the hunters guild?" they looked between each other for a moment before Henry said "their a monster hunter guild." not shocked by this information I asked how fast we could contact them to which the 3 looked surprised at my lack of reaction, Marcus recovered first and said "their nearest guildhall is in rikmen, it'll take a messenger about a day to reach rikmen then the guild will need to organize a group to do the job and then they'll have to get here so it'll probably be a week or so before they get here." taking the info in I then replied "alright whos going to town then?" Marcus then replied "Henry is on bed rest and my injuries while better than Henry's are still hurting so I was hoping Cassidy would go." Cassidy agreed and I then asked "do you mind if I come with?" they all looked confused at my request, Henry deadpanned "you're a monster Sienna." I responded "I know a spell it won't be an issue" the 3 were properly shocked at that statement, Cassidy responded first "I saw you rip apart a dozen goblins like they were nothing and now your saying your also a mage!" trying to calm them down I said "I know a spell that was taught to me by a friend, I'm not some magical prodigy." Henry replied "I see, what's the spell specifically?" I replied back "it's a polymorph spell though it only lets me take the form of normal humans, all my powers are offline while using it." Marcus thought for a second "should be fine then just be careful." I replied "we will be." Cassidy was blushing again but agreed that it was the right idea.

Henry asked how long my spell lasted and I told him "as long as I want after the spell is cast." nodding he then said "you should probably cast the spell before you leave incase you run into some along the road." agreeing with him I went upstairs to cast the spell and change, taking off my current fur covered bra I cast polymorph, the spell only took a few seconds and once it was I looked myself over, the body I made was based off my monster for, standing at 6 feet tall with long ginger hair, pale skin, and the same double D breasts and muscular body I had gotten used to, opening my inventory I grabbed all the clothes I hadn't used up to this point plus my glaive then went back down stairs, as I got to the bottom of the stairs the 3 looked at me seemingly still surprised at my transformation, Marcus said "impressive" followed by Henry saying "looking good" Cassidy agreed with Henry before realizing what she said before she stood up and said "if your ready we should get going it's an hours walk to town." Before slipping on her boots and going outside, Henry looked at me questioningly but I could only give a shrug and told them we'd be back.

Following Cassidy outside I saw she was filling up a waterskin for the trip. quickly finishing with the waterskin she turned to me and said "alright I'm done, lets go." I nodded then she started walking up the road with me following a few steps behind, we walked for a while in silence before Cassidy said "Sienna, I'm sorry about yesterday was just surprised but I know I could have handled that better." I smiled a little that she seemed to want to put it behind us and said "it's alright we all make mistakes." Cassidy nodded and went quiet and we continued walking.

some more time passed before Cassidy spoke again "could I ask you a personal question." deciding to mess with her I said "is this about my dick?" Cassidy blushed before saying "NO, I mean yes, I mean....." I laughed for a moment while Cassidy turned redder before saying "I'm a hermaphrodite meaning I have functional male and female genitals if that's what you were wondering." Cassidy's blush lightened and she said "more or less what I was wondering." deciding to let her off easy I decided to change the subject "so mind telling about this town of yours?" her blush lightened again now barely visible "of course, let me think, i'll start from the beginning I guess, so the towns name is Gresit and was founded 4 years ago by the settler caravan my family was a part of, about 200 live there now and it's still growing from new settlers, were not far from the farms of the people that live in the village actually, should be seeing it soon, we have a blacksmith and a small church with a priest, the nearest village other than Gresit is another hours walk away, were basically on the edge of human territory though apparently the republic is planning another expanse wave eastward." I thought about what she said for a minute before looking forward and seeing the fields she mentioned. "told you." Cassidy said, I just rolled my eyes before asking "who are we meeting anyways?" "the mayor, his name is Jackson, once we tell him he'll send a messenger to the hunter guild and let everyone around town know." not having any other questions we kept walking.
