setting ( exposition chapter )

Hello dear stranger: I would have a moment of your time as I have a many tales I most tell. DON'T LEAVE!!! I assure you that the tale is one that you will enjoy, well unless you don't want to hear about how one man used his wits luck and even his dick to turns the whole world in a new direction.

Our tale is set in the city of Myth Dale, a metropolis of the techno arcane, the kind of place where dream where born and broken.

Myth Dale exist on a plane that used to be much like your earth until a meteor hit that caused a world wide earth quake but that was only the start of the problems. soon all manner of mythic beast began to appear all over the world some kiilled with reckless abandond others tried to co exist till they were **** to fight. now humanity last reffuge is a massive floating fortress called MECHA. MECHA has 10 layers and spans all of what were once called the north and south Americas and Europe. at the tip, a Floating island called the tops a place for the cities upper crust and most powerful to separate themselves from the world. bellow that the guild ring where those who have shown some talent are " gathered" so they may try to rise to their full potential, but most who start to get their feet under them usually disappear and then reappear as a servant with little to no light in their eyes.

The third layer is the guild of Forged Justice the self employed enforcers of "peace and justice" mostly by means of oppression and brutality, they **** those who wont rise to do so through the use of their blessing given by some faceless god. but never doubt the power of the so called forged one, for few who oppose the clergy live a life worth living.

the forth ring is the market, even in a city as corrupt as this one this place is there a hub of life and greed selling everything from top of the line technology to the most ancient of secrets to souls. this ring may seem to be above the corruption of the city but use your words wrong and you may wish to be over a barrel and surrounded by your worst enemy before long.

the fifth ring is the Colosseum, the second most common way for those not blessed with " talent to rise through the ranks. By putting their lives minds and souls on the line for a chance to improve their lot. this ring is home to those who would fight for more, for better, but don't let the word fighting trick you their are academic competitions, culunary tournament and many more all sharing a sinister theme the winner takes wetter that be cash, time, blood all can be used for payment as this layer is led by the bane of angels and slayer of demons, the drinker of the true mysteries of the celestial, mother of the fey, she whose name most be spoken in true reverence Zay Tia the greatest of her line. It is said that those who cross this fairy queen whether they run to the devils, the heavens, or the elder gods all will hand the fey queen what she wants to earn her favor. A word of advice if you want to get out of the muck of the city I suggest you learn to fight with all the emotion you can muster as that is the only way past the wrath of this queen is through her bed.

the sixth layer is the forest where the likes of elves beast men ( who you should NEVER call demi humans) and all manner of Forrest dweller live. while this may sound like a paradise don't be fooled every year more people disappear in this layer than any other. If that is not enough to make you stay away you may want to know that many a mythic beast hide in the various natural demi plane a flower can hold a ocean in the forest layer or just one big bad beast that hunger for the world. though there is a ligtht to thiis layer as it has the best dungeons and is with out doubt the place to go if looking for a cure for most anything.

The seventh layer is the academy were almost anything can be learned for the right price

the eight layer are the workers mostly those who don't or can't muster the will to rise and are **** to toil for some corporation even after they die

the ninth layer is the military layer the forefront of weapon technology and the defense against the labyrinth though now days they mainly fight themselves and the forged justice

the tenth layer is Myth Dale birth place of many a legend and many more a grave. Myth Dale is the home of those who dare challenge the labyrinth a place constantly on the edge of destruction, but from that comes the ultimate potential.

This world is home to a multitude of creature some of whom are what is none as blessed, gift given by the various being to show favor and other things. from the orcs vitality to the fae's many tricks each race save one is blessed all other creature are either animal or a monster. the exception is of course humans for some unknown reason they were born blessed with potential, but they have used this gift along with their high birth rate to dominate and control most race even forcing the ones that don"t have their favor or are ugly into the forest layer. don't feel too sorry as the other races have banded together to curse humanity to always fight it self in a ploy to end what the humans call the "age of heroes", but it only took four hundred years for the humans to use science to rise from the ashes to even greater highs though most have forgotten their true blessings.

Who am I? WHO AM I!!! Why i have never met such a fool for you see i am the teller of tale the turner of the page the one who spins ideas into books and places a spark in the darkness of your mind.
