Pippa wispers to Ostea "hmm purifing trials doesn't sound very pleasant for anybody"
Ostea looks grim at the knights before pointing towards the woods. boreas speaks for her: "Leave, and don't bother us anymore."
the knights turn their heads towards pippa
Pippa tries to avoid their stare, she gets behind Ostea
She hear weapons being drawn
"If cowardize is your choice, than you shall meet the end of a coward."
pippa can hear the knights come closer and boreas pleads again
"Please. Just leave. We did nothing wrong. Have mercy."
Pippa takes stand for the fight, beside Ostea
just as pippa comes out from behind Osea she hears a thunk, as an arrow is shot in Osteas chest. at the same time boreas is felled by the blade and pippa stands alone against the two armored figures
the knights attack, one with an arrow, one with the sword, they miss theirs their first attempt, giving time for pippa to activate her newly learn spell.
When they attack again, the shield doesn't seem to block and Pippa is hurt, the sword is cleaving into her and leaving a bleeding wound.
Pippa decide to use a racial trick of the gnomes, and as she was hit, vanishes of sigth from the knights.
then she rushes to the woods while being invisible for that short time.
pippa makes for the woods being invisible and the knights look around but can't see her. she manages to hide between the greens
Pippa stays hidden until they leave, hoping taht Ostea and Boreas would survive
after a while the smaller of the knights gets into the saddle and puts the bow away into a bag on the saddle, then both of them leave the way they probably came
Pippa gets back to help Ostea and Boreas, she checks but they are both lifeless
crying, Pippa tries to dig a grave behind the house for them
Pippa put them in the grave, writes their name on a wood plank for that grave
then she packs up stuff what she can bear, she won't stay there, the knights might come again
Pippa is worried that she will be alone for her pregnancy that due very soon
the events that unfolded, the pregnancy and the work take their toll and when the sun sets pippa is too exhausted to move on
Pippa ponders if she can sleep here a last time... and finaly choose to stay one more night
