You realize that a direct **** would be suicide. The skills of the warrior and the archer combined are not to be overcome by a headless approach. But the voice inside your head forms an idea.
You quickly retreat and take a small staircase running up. If you are lucky, the hero party will not expect an enemy above them as inside the hallway the flying monsters are not able to come to action.
You carefully move to a balcony waiting for your prey to arrive. The gnome has fallen back so your decision is which one to target. The priestess will not harm you as her spells only seem to work against the undead, the archer is less useful in close combat, but the warrior is dangerous to you. Raising your club you wait for the elf to shoot another arrow before taking the jump.
The priestess screams as you hit the warriors’ head hard knocking him off his feet. With a quick move you tear the bow out of the elfes hand tossing it aside before raising your club again to hit the priestess head. Not as hard as the warrior before but in an instant she is out cold.
You grab her before falling to the ground, toss her over her shoulders and make an escape.
"What are you waiting for? Kill him!" you hear a voice. Must be the gnome you presume not stopping to verify.
"I can´t risk to hit her." you hear the elf answer. "Quick. Give me the healing potion. We must gain our strength to rescue her"
You quickly enter your master’s throne room with your new prey.
"My minion you have done well. You captured one of them. Thought perhaps you would wound one of the foolish heroes, but you instead took one of their numbers prisoner on your own. You impress me, my minion. But more later. We have guests." Your master chuckles as the throne rooms door is opened and the remaning heroes enter.
You see the elf aiming the bow at the dark lord as suddenly, his hands start to shake. He seems to fight it but then turns to his cmpanions, aiming the arrow at the warrior.
"Noooooooo" you hear the gnome cry out as the arrow leaves the bow and an instant later pearces the human warriors throat.
The elves eye widens in shock as he drops the bow, the gnome cradles the dying human warrior. You must admit that your master’s magic is great and in this moment you feel proud to be able to serve him.
You notice your master’s troops capture gnome and elf.
"Other foolish heroes attempted to pay me a visit and yet other fools will now pay the price. Look minion. You captured a priestess. You know their secret? They can summon strong powers of light and other magic. But to do so, they must overcome the temptation to be with a man. It seems as our priestess is starting to come to live again."
The elven priestess is dashing up looking around, still confused. "What happened?" She spots her friends dead or taken prisoner.
"She is preparing magic minion. Prevent her from using it." your master’s voice sounds deep inside your head.
You notice the priestess body is starting to glow softly.
