Watch her
Fascinated you watch what is happening right before you. The body of the elven priestess starts to flow, leaving the ground of the throne room slowly, moving into an upright position.
Her hands are pointing right at you.
"Fool" the voice inside your head echoes as a fire bolt forms from the priestess and hits your chest. You notice the eleven priestess body gets pierced by several arrows from your masters archers.
But it is too late for you.
As your dead body drops to the floor your masters voice comes to your mind one last time. "Not much of my essence inside that one it seems."
Curiosity kills the cat or in this case, the goblin. Your hesitation gave your enemy the time to kill you. Bad end.
