Buzz, Buzz, Buzz went the clock. Liz slowly opened her eyes to see the same black boring box that was her clock. As she reached for the clock to shut it up she looked back at what had happen over the past week. Liz Had been very sick with the flu, well her mum had thought it was the flu. To her it felt like food poisoning from a out of date drink she found at the back of her bag. She had no idea what it was but she idea that it was some hippie drink that had been slipped into her bag on the way back from school. Just her luck that she then got ill during the exam week and the last week of this side of term. Part of her was happy that her had missed the exam as she hated them but she would have to do them at some point. It took a few days for the "flu" to kick in and it wasn't until Monday when the illness kicked in. Mum was not happy when she found out but let her have the week off as she needed to get going work. It was later that Liz found out her mum who worked in the army just like her dad had rush off to Japan because according to her "The North is going Nuclear and the South had to be protected". Deep down Liz was happy that her parents were out for a while and being a only child she would have the house to her self

As she got up from bed in her PJ, a Blue one with red pants (She likes Blue and the Red a Lot and likes to ware it as much as possible) she noted that she felt better, not just better but happy. The illness had left her. Happy for the fact she jumped up from the bed with energy she had not felt before and looked at her self in the mirror. She then saw what Five days sitting in bed eating snacks and playing games on her laptop had done to her body. She had got fat. Not round fat but she had lost her smooth stomach she loved.
