With Kira at the Melton family home building his nest the terrified people of Kingston were quickly finishing the day jobs and getting home to meet the curfew those still out in the streets was the police,secret service,army,and night workers with important jobs.

However there was one individual who was none of these as she watched people run around trying to meet the curfew time.

"human's are so predictable"Lauren said as she walked along the sidewalk passing a store where a woman watched her in confusion Lauren stopped and looked at her with her red eyes.

Then gave her a wink and walked away making the woman feel relief.

"I wonder what the next plan is? Darius has said the government is hiding something that's worth the attention"Lauren thought she looked to the right seeing 3 boys 3 vampire boys feeding on a poor traffic lady who was long since dead one of the boys looked up at her and gave a smirk standing up.

"hey bitch like what you see? how about you bring that ass of yours here so we can fuck you senseless?"the boy said arrogantly his friends watched with glee which turned to absolute terror when Lauren flicked her wrist and the arrogant boy exploded in to red covering the dead lady and the remaining boys Lauren gave them a bored look before she continued walking as the boys ran from the area.

"how rude"Lauren said as she walked to a corner and stopped to look around.

"hmmmm?"Lauren thought seeing nothing getting her interest in fact she didn't see anything at all.

Lauren was grabbed from behind by a young man who pulled a knife at her throat.

"hey there little lady! what brings a sweet thing like you out here?"the man said as he licked his lips his free hand getting under Lauren's kimono much to her irritation.

The man screamed when in a quick motion his arm holding the knife turned to red mush.he backed away from Lauren who turned to him.

Back at the store the woman who saw Lauren earlier screamed as a young man came through the window and hit the far wall exploding in to gore covering the entire store in red including the woman who collapsed to the ground in shock.

"stupid human!"Lauren said in annoyance as she decided to leave her walk was boring anyway.

Across the street in a Hum-vee Francie and Yui saw the whole thing which thankfully for Francie helped Yui believe her about vampire's the sister's nodded and took off towards the bunker to meet up with the others.
