Your wife's smiling face

"Hi honey, you looked so relaxed I couldn't stand to wake you but it's almost time for our dinner reservations."

You must have dozed off for at least an hour. You feel well rested and a little hungry.

"How long was I out?"

"Oh, almost two hours. I had the staff keep an eye on you."

"Must have been all the travel and time change. What did you do while I was napping?"

"A little shopping..."

She had a glint in her eye like maybe she was up to something but seemed like she wanted whatever I was to be a surprise so you didn't push.

"We should get changed before dinner"

The two of you walked back to the hotel and quickly showered and dressed for the nice restaurant. You see several new bags in the room that must contain Jane's shopping haul. Given Jane's mischievous smile you suspect at least one bag contains something prurient. You're cutting it close on the reservation though so it seems like you won't be finding out what the surprise is until later.
