Your house

Leaving Dan to the hospital grounds, you scurry back home to prepare a proper date night. Imagine - a real shapeshifter as a boyfriend! You can hardly contain yourself at the though of these possibilities. The two of you could act out all of your wildest fantasies...

Gosh, you're really getting ahead of yourself. It's only a first date, there probably won't be any frick fracking tonight. Unless Dan is okay with it, naturally. Then you'll jump at the chance.

Sophie: "Aw crap, this is a date, isn't it? I gotta get stuff ready!"

You rummage around the fridge, trying to find something to offer. There's beer aplenty, which is always nice, and you discover leftover poptato chips in the pantry. Not the most eloquent of offerings, but will do for now.

Seeing as how you live alone, the apartment is a bit of a mess. Despite your extraneous sex organs getting in the way, upcoming visitors really put haste in your step. All the while, you entertain thoughts of varying depravity while thinking of Dan.

After half an hour of waiting, Dan rings the doorbell. You set down the vaccuum cleaner that you were using, and run to the front door.

Sophie: "Dan! So nice to see you. The doctors didn't pull you inside out, did they?"

Dan: "Nah, Dr. Coitus was cool. There's not much in the way of anatomy to go through when you're basically an amorphous uniform blob. He just took a tissue sample and let me off."

Sophie: "Nice. But come in, come in. I got us snacks and beer and all. Sorry for the mess, haha..."

Dan: "Hey, it's cleaner than my place."

The two of you settle on the couch. You, being nervous and slightly lovestruck, let him carry the coversation while nodding along and sometimes putting in a quip or an anecdote. Most coversations are about the transformations, and the vastly different lives you're both going to have to deal with. You put on the TV to follow the 24 hour special about the miraculous event still taking place.

Talking is great, but this is getting mildly stale.
