You try to communicate

The skeletons creep ever closer, making their rusty chainmails clatter over their bones, as their metal boots scrape across the marble floor.

You get back in your stance, but slowly step backwards, making the skeletons walk closer and closer to eachother. You continue until they are walking so close that they almost fall into eachother.

"Now, let's not be too hasty little fellas, there must be a way to solve this without a fight, right?" You say with a subtle smile, as you lower your guard a bit, but still preparing for the worst.

The skeletons seem to slow their advance, until finally coming to a halt a few meters away from you. "See, no reason to be enemies." You lower your guard completely and take a more relaxed stance. The skeletons look at eachother, and seem a bit confused about what to do.

"Now, why don't you lower your weapons so we can have a... talk?" You give them another gentle smile and cock an eyebrow, being uncertain about how talking to them is going to work, since they seem to have no verbal ability.

The skeletons lower their weapons slowly, still looking back and forth between themselves and you. You fold your hands in front of your breasts, squeezing them togeather unconciously. "So...
