You take the first step of the journey to change this world

Completely exhausted after having sex, both you and Maribel fall asleep on the bed after both of you took a bath together. Throughout the evening and the night, both of you are completely asleep due to how much energies both you and Maribel were spending at fucking the heck out of each other in the bathroom.

By the time you and Maribel get up from the bed, the sunlight already shined through the window and morning has already arrived.

Later at the dining room, both you and her are having breakfasts together. And you ordered a lot of foods for her, joking that she is also needed to feed another mouth in her belly despite that the children you put into her womb are still developing at the moment. And yes, both you and Maribel are oblivious that you and her are going to become parents of the twins instead of just one child.

"So tell me, Maribel. Why the Gods chose me? And who are they anyway?" You asked her after you took a bite of a grilled piece of meat while she is eating a piece of bread before her.

"Our Gods, Njord, Nerthus, Freyr and Freyja, have summoned you here for a purpose. But for what that purpose is, even I do not know because it had various interpretations." Maribel said after she swallowed the bread she just bit.

"And chiefs among them are?" You asked while looking at her straight in the eyes.

"One said you're here to bring us salvation. The other said you're here to bring back what was lost to us. And some even claimed that you are here to destroy the old world and play a role in giving birth to a new one." Maribel said as she's looking at him with a smile. Then, she rubs her belly with her right hand, knowing that there is at least one life growing inside of her.

"Wow! Those are some interpretations of a prophecy that foretold about my arrival..." You said nervously, suddenly feeling heavy pressures on your shoulders about what you might do or might not do to realize one of these interpretations.

After that, you and Maribel continued to eat some more foods without an incident. Once finished, you and Maribel left the inn without even paying. And when you reminded Maribel of that, she simply chuckled and tell you that she already paid him last night for their staying for a few days by using her magical staff to transfer the 100 of her golden coins from her own private treasury to his own banking account in this town.

"Now that we've eaten our fills. Let's give you a tour of this town." Maribel as she's leading you to somewhere else.

"So what would you like to show me first?" You asked her curiously.

"Well, I am using this opportunity to find a new caravan to the capital while also giving you a tour after my entourage was attacked by-" Maribel said but before she can finish, the vibrations below her feet and the sounds of stomping from the distance stopped her.

Around you and her, everyone, who are all Light Elves and Dark Elves, stopped whatever they are doing and immediately run for the basements of all houses. Upon seeing what everyone is doing, you immediately grab Maribel's right hand and run for the basement of the inn you and her just left.

After everyone in are hidden behind the doors of the basements, three deformed gigantic nude humanoids stand at 15 meters tall with creepy smiles on their faces appeared from the forest.

"What are those things?!" You asked after seeing how huge those creatures are through the little hole of the basement's door.

"The Trolls. They attacked my entourage while I was coming here. I am the only who made it out because my guards willingly sacrificed themselves to save me." Maribel whispered to him.

The three Trolls simply looked around, searching for Elves to eat. However, they showed no interests in the livestock and beasts of burden at all. They simply walked past them like they do not see them.

All three of them headed for the town's temple and tear the roof open, revealing a group of Light Elves and Dark Elves alike are hiding in the temple. Strangely, there are no images of the Four Gods or anything to represent them exist within the temple at all.

As one of the Trolls are reaching out to grab one of the Elves within the group, you cannot keep still and decide to do something about it. Just like how you rushed out to save an elderly woman and her granddaughter on the street before the truck hit them, you ran out without thinking to save the Elves in the temple from the Trolls.

While Maribel yelled out to you to come back, you did not listen to her. You are only thinking about doing something to save the Elves inside that temple.

"HEY YOU!" You yelled out, gaining the attention of all three Trolls as you're running toward them.

"LET THEM GO!" You yelled as you're running toward them.

The three Trolls do not know what to make of you. While you looked resemble Elves, you definitely looked not like Elves. Your stench also informed them you're neither a Light Elf or Dark Elf. So they know not should they eat you or not.

With the three Trolls are standing still and do nothing, you made it to one of them, grab a rock on the way and throw it at one of them. But as it is flying toward one of the Trolls, directly to one of its eyes, the rock begins to glow blue and when it hits the targeted Troll right in the eye, it blows the entire head apart!

The explosion resulted in the other two Trolls to fall down onto the nearby houses while the one that just lost its head collapsed onto the ground right before you as a headless corpse!

"Did... did I... did I just do that?" You said as you're looking at your hands as they are visibly trembling.

"How... how did he use my magic?" Maribel thought after seeing you somehow managed to use one of her magical powers at the scale that even she cannot do! But most importantly, how did he acquire it?! And then, she remembered about her passionate time with your yesterday!

"Could it be... that?! He received my magic after we had sex?! But none of the interpretations stated that the one chosen by the Gods possessed such an ability! And all previous ones brought here to our world by them never possessed such ability either!" Maribel thought about how much different you are from all the peoples brought here by the Four Gods. After all, none of them possessed the ability to gain powers by having sex with the opposite gender before!

"Maybe... maybe they picked the right one this time." Maribel whispered to herself as she's rubbing her belly, knowing that the result of their passionate moment last night is growing inside of her little by little.

The two remaining Trolls begin to get up. And when they did, they spot Maribel. Without hesitation, they immediately run toward her, completely ignoring you. When you turned around, you found that they are heading toward Maribel.

So you quickly run with a speed you never know you possessed and even jump up high in the sky with jets of blue flames coming out of your feet! As you're about to land on the head of the Troll on the right, you accidentally formed a sword purely made of blue fire in your hands and stab right into the back of its head, causing it to fall down. With your intention and passionate desire to defend Maribel, the heat of the sword keeps getting stronger and stronger to the point that it blast through the head, creating a burning hole that can see to the other side in the process.

"AAAAAHHHHH!" Maribel screamed as the last Troll is picking her up and is about to bite her at her head. She used her staff to blast a ball of blue fire to one of its eyes. However, that did not stop the Troll at all.

Out of your passion and desire to protect the female Light Elf who is carrying your babies in her belly, you formed a spear purely made out of blue fire in your right hand and throw it at its neck. After it pierced through its neck, the Troll's head immediately exploded! After its headless corpse collapsed on the ground, you immediately rushed to free Maribel from its right hand.

Once she is freed, she immediately hugs you. With the three Trolls have been killed, everyone in the town of Everton come out of hiding and praise you for your actions.

By saving this town from the Trolls and gaining Maribel's magical powers by impregnating her, you've taken the first step of the journey to change this world.
