Due to the attack by the Trolls, Maribel decided it is for the best to find the caravan that is about to head to the capital with you. And when you asked why, she stated that taking you there will help you to gain control of the magic you gained through an intercourse with her. And possibly, to help you "acquired" some more magic for yourself.
After finished the talking, you and Maribel immediately begin to look for the caravan of merchants that is leaving for the capital. And lucky for you and her, you two found one. And that is when you are completely dumbfounded by the revelation she made before you and the merchants!
Maribel is the relative of the royal family, specifically the Queen's cousin! And she revealed her status to you and everyone in the caravan by showing the ring with a symbol that is the three purple roses that she is wearing on her index finger!
So without hesitation, the merchants allowed both you and Maribel to join their trip to the capital while Maribel promised them they will be paid handsomely for their services.
And after traveling for a whole day after leaving Everton, the caravan stopped in a middle of nowhere and form a camp to rest for the night. After finishing constructing the tent for yourself and Maribel, you sit near her before the fireplace as she's pouring a cup of hot tea for herself from the pot that is hanging above the fireplace.
"So... you're a Princess?" You asked her while you're still wondering how lucky you are to get to fuck and impregnate a Light Elf who also happened to be Princess!
"In a sense, yes. My father is a Light Elf with element of fire who has been granted with the title of the Duke due to his service in the military. My mother is a Dark Elf who is a Princess and a skilled sorceress with element of water. As for my cousin, she is the Queen of All Elves within the Walls." Maribel said with a smile before take a sip of her drink.
"Within the Walls?" You asked, wondering what Maribel means by that.
"Outside the Walls, the Trolls roamed the world. Well, until recently, of course. As for us, the Elves, we're living inside the Walls gifted to us by the Four Gods." Maribel said as she's staring at the fire before her.
"Speaking of the Four Gods, when I visited the temple to find the people who can help us to get to the capital, why I see no images of them?" You asked her while wondering how the heck did the Elves, who clearly practiced polytheism, do not have the images of their Gods inside the temple.
"According to one of the prophets from ancient times, like long before the Trolls will appeared, the prophet claimed that Njord, Nerthus, Freyr and Freyja wanted us, the Elves, to know that worshiping stones in the pavements and the sticks on the altars will bring salvation to no ones and to also let us know that no matter where we are, they will always be us." Maribel said before take another sip at her drink.
"And who is this prophet?" You asked her, curious to know who he is.
"Most of the records of the past have been long gone. We only know his name, Malachi, and a part of his story, how his birth heralded as a dawn of a new age and how he and his followers went to war against those who placed the monarchs, both living and deceased, as the equals of the Four Gods." Maribel said as she's putting her tea down, grab a bread, tear it into two and offer you a piece of it while keeping one to herself.
"By the way, can you tell me how you make those fire-based weapons explode and the other things you did while using magic? Even I cannot do that. Most of the times, I just blasted flames and fireballs there and there. But flying and running with such a speed? Even I cannot perform such actions, let alone explosive weapons purely made out of fire. So tell me, please." Maribel requested, wishing to know how did you take out three Trolls so easily.
"Well, all I was thinking about was saving everyone else, especially you." You said while looking at her in the eyes, making her blush. Then, you leaned closer to her left ear.
"After all, you're having my child in your womb now..." You whispered into her ears after you leaned closer to her left ear. And that makes Maribel blushes harder even more!
Later on, they go inside their tent to sleep. And later by the morning, they woke up and found that everything remained completely peaceful with no Trolls in sights. Then, they all packed up and continue the journey to the capital.
