Nan is taken aback by the **** of your spell. She tries to fight it, but you redouble your energy and press the issue until her defense collapses, and on through until she no longer fears or resists, but she LOVES you.
Drained by the effort, you drop your wand and collapse in a heap upon the floor of the cellars of House Beavertail.
