It's Nan

It takes a few moments for your eyes to focus enough to take a good look at the person. Still sleepy you don't recognize the red-haired girl at first, but as you fully wake up you remember what happened: the summoning ritual, warning Susan, chasing Nan, casting Charm...

"Are you alright?" Nan interrupts your thoughts. She sounds concerned.

"Uh... yeah, I'm fine. I'm just... tired..." You assure her.

"Oh, thank the gods! I was so worried! You suddenly collapsed, and then you would not wake up, and I didn't know what to do! I wanted to go look for help, but I was worried about leaving you here alone and defenseless..." Nan starts talking without pause.

"I'm fine!" You manage to interrupt her when she pauses to take a breath.

"I'm glad! So, anything you need? Anything I can do for you? Anything at all? Just tell me!" At last she stops talking, giving you a chance to answer.

Choose an intention and Roll +Diligence (+4) to ENCOUNTER Nan. (+2 CHARM, +2 Diligence).

• Take me, Nan! (Ask to HAVE SEX with Nan.) A complication might be dire given tonight's ceremony.
• Convince Nan to abandon her ****. If successful, you may attempt to MAKE AMENDS for Susan (+1 XP on success) so Nan is no longer Susan's ENEMY. (On a Miss, Nan may try to enlist you as her helper!)
• Convince Nan to turn herself in to the Warden for Forbidden Magic. A complication might be that you promise Nan something or get into trouble for going after her on your own.
• Ask Nan for a FAVOR for later.
• You've had enough creeping around House Beavertail's corridors for tonight. Ask Nan for help getting back to your room. (Complication? Maybe Nan takes you to her room or somewhere else first, or there is trouble enroute).
• Ask Nan for something else?

Rolling a Complication (7-9 result) resolving ENCOUNTER Nan could include picking up Nan as a HANGER-ON as your CHARM spell works on her to create a genuine fascination. Or Nan may ask you for a favor (hide her tonight, help her escape).

Or:

• Leave Nan and narrate a scene about what happens next morning.
• Try a different Move?

You have Nan under your CHARM (+2 to ENCOUNTER Nan) until you roll a Miss or take a CONSEQUENCE or have to get out of DETENTION or the INFIRMARY.
