You set up a field

After setting up the cemetery and customizing your government you went to sleep. The next day you woke up you decided to address one of the most important issue your little group is currently facing – lack of stable food source. You have food now, but hunting and gathering can get you only that far – especially with your intentions of recruiting additional followers.

You enter the 'build menu' and scroll through the possible positions. With only 50 gold coins you don't have much to chose from, but there is one position you can use – the field.

The field.

A simple field that allows growing food like rice, wheat, corn, lettuce.

Price: 50 gold coins.

You wince at the price – by spending it, you will be left with no cash... but better to be left with no cash, instead of being left with no food. You push the 'buy' button and place the field not far away from your headquarter... you wince again. Calling an old barn a headquarters is really depressing.

You shake your head and turn your head to inspect your new field – you will have time to think of depressing stuff later. To your annoyance, you discovered that you have nothing to plant – the seeds cost additional money.

With a sight you go back into the barn – it looks like you will have to earn money for the seeds. Resign, you leave the field in search of your hunters – it looks like you won't be using the field anytime soon.

You find one of the hunters, Filandariel, eating the berries.

“Filandariel” you speak to get her attention. “We will be going hunting, so get ready.”

“Sure thing boss.” The elve nodded and spit the fruit's seed and got up. You turn ready to leave, but something clicks in your mind – you turn sharply and look at the seed. Maybe you could use the seeds from berries on the field!

You quickly grab a hand of berries and run to the field with them, leaving the bewildered woman behind.

The moment when you plant first of seeds on the field, a popup appears.

You are stunned – you can already see a small green growing from the earth. You kneel and gently touch it – strange feelings swelling in your chest.

The berries harvested in four hours? This kind of field could probably cover your food problems – if you make more of them. You can't help but get excited about the prospect.
