You go back to walk around the farm.

2 weeks have passed since Katerina saw the hounds for the last time. She was worried anything serious had happened to them. Wasps were more and more common around the farm, but the young woman wanted some answers. After finishing her daily tasks, she went for a walk, near the area she saw that aggressiv Tree hound some time ago. It was really, really weird as the closer the was to the spot, wasps were more and more numerous. She knew they were harmless for something as big as a human, but still was scared. Despite having to dodge the flying bugs from bumping on her, she built the courage to finally arrive to the spot, only to find 5 of the hounds here guarding the same big tree she saw the first time she was here.

She kept her distance, remembering the encounter with the menacing mammals, but then she saw something hideous : One of the tree hounds, laid on the floor, with an abdomen almost the size of the rest of its body, hardly breathing. Lot of wasps were landing on the poor mammal, but more terrifying, lots of them were getting out the mouth and ears, like if it was another part of the hive. Talking about the hive, Katerina didn't remember seeing the actual nest, but now a huge cocoon-like structure was fixed on the tree, emitting a loud buzz sound, indicating a huge number of insects inside.

Katerina felt sick to see this, and try to slowly go back, but her steps made surely a bit too much of sounds, because now the 5 still standing hounds where turned to her, and began to spread, probably to circle the trespassing woman. Katerina quickly turned back to run, but to her surprised, the last one of the hounds, which was hiding near by, was already behind her. The 24 year-old panicked when she saw the way to the farm was blocked by menacing fangs. Step by step, the hounds were moving closer to her, forcing the woman to get closer to the tree where the wasp hive was installed. Katerina was terrified, but if she run fast enough, she thought, maybe she could pass by the hive without any problems. She took a deep breath in, then dash between the trees. The pack reacted in less than a second, and sprinted towards her. These animals were made to hunt on the forest's floor, and quickly caught up to the woman. The biggest one jump on her back, making her trip, just next to the inflated individuals. Katerina screamed and kicked the dog-like mammals a much as she could, hoping she could get some help. But she was far away from home, and noone was in the fields at this hour... Soon she though she would be ate by the creature around her, but, after just a few seconds, the hounds stopped, now in circle around the woman on the floor, growling to keep her still. Katerina didn't have time to be confused that a gurgling sound emitted from the hound laid 3 feets away. As she turned her head to see what it was, the animal's maw broke off to let out a huge wasp. The insect was maybe 3 times the size of regular ones, with a much wider abdomen. Being inside the hound must have wet its wings, because when its spotted Katerina, it crawled to her like a cockroach would. The sight of the enormous insect totally froze Katerina in fear, letting only tears dropping on the woman's checks. Without any hesitation, the wasp climbed onto the trembling woman's arm until it reached her shoulder then her neck. Then it stung her. Katerina immediatly felt the pain spread through her body, so intense her vision got blurry and then, she passed out...
