You get destroyed

Immediately as the battle starts it becomes obvious that you are the weakest trainer in this battle. You try to follow Blue's lead and command Charmander into a pincer attack with his Squirtle. You've never actually participated in a double battle before, though, so your coordination is pitiful. The enemy Ekans and Rattata are too fast for your combined Water Gun and Ember attacks to hit from this range, so you both command your respective Pokemon to stand guard together and await their close-range ****.

It is immediately clear that your opponents are very practiced in the coordination necessary for double battles. Squirtle and Charmander deftly dodge the first flurry of attacks from the opposing Pokemon, though they move fast enough that your counterattacks mostly miss. Squirtle barely hits the Ekans with a Water Gun while all the Embers that Charmander throw fizzle harmlessly in the dirt behind Rattata. As the two opposing Pokemon circle around for another attack, you and Blue instruct Squirtle and Charmander to ready themselves for another set of attacks.

This time, however, the Rocket grunts change their commands at the last minute. You and Blue both expect them to attack both of your Pokemon just like last time, but at the last moment the grunts give new orders. In a single flash, both enemies descend on your poor Charmander. A blindingly fast Quick Attack and Poison Sting overwhelm and disorient it, and a coordinated pair of Bites finish it off.

You collapse to your knees, stunned that your Charmander could be defeated so quickly. You stare blankly at the battle, watching Blue's Squirtle try to hold its own in what is quickly obvious as a doomed 2v1. Because of Squirtle's good defensive stats Blue holds on for a surprising amount of time, even occasionally getting a good hit in with Squirtle's long range attacks. Eventually Squirtle loses the battle of attrition, though, and goes down to a final Ekans Bite.

Blue's confident facade immediately drops. While the grunts high-five to celebrate their victory, you watch in despair as Blue recalls Squirtle and Charmander back to their respective PokeBalls and runs away as fast as he can. That coward. He just abandoned you to your fate at the hands of these Team Rocket members.
