What's next?
You formulate a plan
"The Prince-Bishop has a few dozen magicians among his priests and priestess. Most of them are talentless and cannot conjure enough magic to light a room, however, there are a few of them who nearly rival the Prince-Bishop himself in occult strength." Rosalind explains. "And we know he controls Golems as well. I don't know how many, or if he possesses other magical servants. I can smell magicians, but only magicians."
"I have 20 more friends near the city. If we meet up with them, could we storm the cathedral?" you say.
"Are they also magicians?"
"No, but they are powerful."
The door to the room swings open, interrupting your deliberations. A large and burly man with mismatched proportions walks in, having almost broken the door with his strength. Rosalind, frightened, reaches for the spellbook while you stand up. Eisheth gently touches you and says:
"O Creator, he is another of thy servents".
You look at the man again and somehow instinctively recognize him as the Minotaur you traveled with. Like Eisheth, he has been charmed to resemble a regular human being, though, the Minotaur was much more off putting than the demon. The Minotaur grunts which you interpret as him being happy to see his master. Another person follows him, a young lithe woman with bright red hair you guess is the nymph.
"These demons have remade themselves as they believe thy own kind looks. Some succeeded greater than others, but all will pass as humans under the eyes of the untrained" says Eisheth, as the Kelpie enters the room.
"They are all demons, aren't they?" asks Rosalind. "Are you one?"
"No, I am a human," you reply. Two more demons walk through the door.
"Jesus!" the priestess exclaims. "You aren't an evil magician, are you?"
"I don't believe so. I do take care of those who work along side me, and only harm those who don't. You want your freedom. If you help us take down the Prince-Bishop, you will have it. I promised you take care of you and I will honour said promise. Do I sound evil?"
Rosalind remains quiet, thinking of her next words before she says them. "Honestly, I don't know what evil is. The Prince-Bishop collects charity for the poor, then gives some of the wealth back to the community and uses the rest to fund spy networks and undermine rivals. You are a literal lord of demons but are helping me escape. You'll both probably burn in hell once this life is over, but, I want to leave my old life behind more than anything right now. I will help you overthrown the Prince-Bishop, I just have one request."
"And what is that?"
"Whatever magic these demons used to make them look non-demonic, I want it. The next time I look in the mirror I don't want to see the priestess I was forced to be."
"And who do you want to see?"
"Someone who will strike fear into the Prince-Bishop's heart."
