You begin to, but Aphrodite intervenes

As you begin to follow the man, he walks and talks with you, leading you through back alleys and all through the town. As he enters a secluded alley, he sees your hesitation, and asks, "scared of a little alone time?"

Suddenly, a young woman runs up to you, "ah, there you are - come come, I found this cute little coffee shop that you just have to try with me." Though you can't say for certain that you know her, something in your soul sparks recognition, and you trust her. "Hey, can't you see she and I were having a conversation?" the man asks, a bit angrily at having been cockblocked like that. "Zeus, unless you want me to call Hera down here - and you know how much I don't exactly like her - you better go back to Olympus right now. Or if you'd rather, I could always call Athena and Artemis and have them come back me up. Although you wouldn't want to have a confrontation between your aunt and you in the first place would you? Never forget, I am far, far more powerful than you." He simply scowls and fucks off to whatever plane he came from in the first place.

"I was serious about that coffee shop by the way - I'm already down here anyhow, wanna come?" You and she walk back to the crowded parts of the city and find that there is, indeed, a relatively new coffee shop, with a sign on it that says "Maiden's Drink." The menu out front advertises various chocolate and coffee drinks.

As the two of you sit and enjoy your drinks, she says, "I do believe I've warned you before to stay away from Zeus's statue by the way; the one of Hermes is far safer." You blush, something of the like does come to mind. "I specifically have my eye on Zeus, which is why I was able to so timely intervene. That, paired with the presence of such a strong temple makes it extremely easy for us to manifest there. While it certainly will never be your fault if anything does happen, there are some basic safety measures that you can take to reduce the chances."

"First off," she stares into your soul, "you shouldn't follow strangers who you've never met before off to who knows where." You once more blush, recognizing that that's precisely what you did just an hour ago. You and she discuss safety tips for a bit before drifting off into conversation about other topics. After an hour or so, she departs and walks in the direction of the temple.
