Nebula had to be a moron to expect your help after what she did. She's a psychotic, smug, misogynistic narcissist who managed to ruin your reputation in under an hour.

And guess what? You're an even bigger idiot for actually helping her. You spent a good 10 minutes reluctantly throwing a pair of shorts and a new pair of tighty whities, still in their packaging, into and out of your backpack, debating whether you should make Nebula face the brunt of her own ironic punishment. You suddenly heard the bus outside your window, and hurriedly threw them in, before rushing outside.

As you crashed on the bus, you looked over to your phone and thought about sending Chris a message. You wrote a long, heartfelt apology for Nebula being a shithead in your phone notes, but end up deleting it. You tried to send her a meme to ease the tension, but you ended up deleting it. You tried to write out a simple "Hey", but you ended up deleting that one too. You spent five minutes of the bus ride to school staring at Chris's chat profile, debating on whether or not to write out another message to delete, only to give up and put your phone back in your pocket. You'd meet her today anyway... With Nebula... Fuck.

As you hopped off the bus, you spied Nebula in a state of twitchy anxiety. Sure enough, she wasn't lying about coming to school wearing only a shirt. She could have probably passed it off as a short sundress, if not for the full-sized graphic of a super-hero posing, behind which was a pop-font text reading "OWL-MAN" in deep red letters. Her collarbone and the tops of her shoulders were entirely exposed, as if one good tug could send her entire torso through the neck hole. Whenever the wind picked up, Nebula yelped like a dog and jumped straight up, obviously inexperienced with cold air blowing on her genitals (not that you were experienced with that feeling until last week). Her nipples poked through the fabric as if she had just taken a dip into ice water, and you noticed that the shirt reached to the upper-middle of her thighs, revealing the bottoms of her ass cheeks whenever she jumped. Nebula was shifting her legs as you approached her, obviously nervous.

"Sam! Thank god you came!" Nebula said, sounding out of breath. "You've literally and figuratively saved my ass!"

"...Do you have anything to say to me? About two weeks ago?" You said, glaring at her.

Nebula tilted her head cutely. "Well, I told you about the porn sim... and you being the main character... and Chris... and Zoe... so... nope." Nebula seemed genuinely confused about what you were angry about.

"Seriously? Just one word. Literally just say one word you need to say, and I'll give you the pants."

"Oh, like a secret phrase!" Nebula snapped her fingers as if she solved some great puzzle. "'Laundry fire'?"

She just doesn't get it. You can't even be mad anymore.

You sighed. "Yeah, good job. You got it right on the first try..." You threw your bag at Nebula a little too hard, who made a grunt as it crashed into her stomach. "Get dressed..."

Nebula's eyes lit up, and she hurriedly tore open your bag to find your shorts and underwear. "Fuck yes, thank you bro-"

Nebula squinted and searched deeper into your bag. "Dude... where are they... I can't see em..." You looked into the bag with her, and sure enough, your clothes weren't there. "You've gotta be kidding me..."

Nebula froze, as if she realized something. "Sam, did you..."

"I swear, I put them in there..." Then again, you were flip-flopping a lot on leaving them behind... and you were in a rush to get to the bus...

Nebula looked like she was going to cry. "I thought we were friends..." She mumbled to herself, then raised her voice, sounding more terrified than you thought she could. "You're one of them! You're out to get me like everyone else!"

You don't know why, but you felt a sudden pang of guilt. "Nebula, I-"

You suddenly made a snap decision you felt like you were going to regret.

"Nebula, this is definite proof of a conspiracy. I was on the fence before, but now I'm fully convinced that someone is trying to get you."

"You do?!?!" Nebula's eyes lit up, her terror replaced by an almost orgasmic look.

"Definitely. The fact they framed me, and stole my clothes, just proves your theory. I'll help you."

"Y-yeah... thanks man. You're a real friend..." Nebula mumbled, rubbing her bare thighs together. You suddenly realize she was... leaking... Did she really just do that because someone told her she was right? Nebula blushed intensely before trying to change the subject. "So, first things first. I think we need to track down where those clothes went."

You realized you would be spending the rest of the day walking around next to an almost naked girl, humoring her insane prattling, all to cover for something that was probably your fault entirely. In for a penny, in for a pound, you guessed.
