Soon you and Luke were dancing the night away. You felt so safe, so loved, in his strong embrace.
“I was offered a job.” Luke said as you two walked home.
“That’s wonderful, dear husband.” You say.
“I’ll be joining the security staff here. No long commute. And I can come home for lunch.”
You smile as you grip his arm tighter.
He looks at you and smiles.
