According to your calculations, you have passed along this winding forest road for about 20 more kilometers (which means that you still have about 25 kilometers to the city of Granveith). It's late in the evening and you understand that you need to sleep and rest.

Ahead is a small house. This house stands at the crossroads of two forest roads (one road goes north - to the capital - you go along this road; the other road goes from east to west).

You notice an old and dilapidated sign on this house. The sign reads: "Tavern and inn Forest Gift".

You enter this tavern and look around.

The establishment seems empty and there are no visitors. You sit down at the table and order meat and beer (you paid 20 copper coins for meat and beer; so you now have 32 silver coins and 130 copper coins left). You enjoy eating and drinking.

After about 30 minutes, the tavern door opens and closes several times.

A man in a rich outfit enters the tavern.
