Katie shared two classes with Claire that day and she thought she would feel tempted by her obvious lack of bra, or the two strings that obviously belonged to her panties that showed above the lining of her skirt from time to time. But it just wasn't the same, sure she was in a cute outfit but she wasn't in a cute cheerleading outfit. It was when she thought about what the lack of bra and easy to discard panties could mean for their practice that day, that was when she got excited.

The other students felt much the same way, Claire in class was just another cute girl, nothing really special. But if one looked at her and imagined her in her cheer uniform, that's when the fantasies ran amuck. It seemed as the day drew on, those that missed the show the day before were filled in and the anticipation towards Friday's game was climbing.

Students were constantly being caught texting, but once teachers realized that they were inviting people to the game, they let them be. By lunchtime even the Sports coaches had picked up on the hype and had ordered extra seating to be erected in and around the stands. Even college recruiters were coming, something almost unheard of for such a simple game, not even a semi final.

As the day went on, Claire didn't even notice the attention others had on the game. She was stuck in her own daydreams about being the most beloved captain this school had ever seen. This was her ticket to stardom. The constant glow in her cheeks could be attributed to the compliments she was still receiving, but it almost seemed to match the persistent glow of her trophy at home, even though her curtains were drawn, so it shouldn't be getting any sunlight.

Floating through the day, finally it was the time that the entire cheer team was waiting for, the end of the last class. Despite the hype of the upcoming show and Claire's promises, most of the school actually cleared out early, they had no reason to expect a show today, the promise of Friday was enough. Even Mel had found Claire at her locker, telling her that she would be leaving early today.

Before Claire could even suggest a call to her parents or somebody else to give her a ride, the other members of the cheer team had appeared by her locker and promised that they would make sure she got home safely. Everybody now perfectly at ease with the decision, Mel left and the other girls escorted Claire to the locker room.

Claire felt like a queen, surrounded by her royal court as she approached her seat of power. As the girls entered the locker room, she decided to ask if there were any suggestions. Unsurprisingly, Katie stepped up with the first order of business.
