The day went by quickly. Work was as boring as ever but Jess entertained him with stories about her dysfunctional boyfriend's different attempts at dates.

“What! Like the Flight of the Concords song? That’s hilarious.” Frank laughed along.

“This other time he just took me to McDonalds, he told me to get dressed up and everything.” She gossiped.

“That’s terrible. What do you see in him?” he questioned, still giggling.

“Honestly I don’t know, he has just always been there, you know?” she confessed.
