The next few days went by uneventfully for Frank, he didn’t have the chance to meet with Rachel, and Katherine continued to be a bitch at work.

Wednesday rolled around and Frank heard an unexpected knock at the door, just as he was leaving for work. Opening it he saw Dave. Half expecting to be punched in the face, Frank took a step back.

“Oh sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.” Dave offered.

Realizing that he wasn’t there to confront him, Frank replied “No that’s okay, you just took me by surprise.”

Dave frowned clearly confused, but let it go. “Hey it’s Rachel’s 35th Birthday today and we were going to have a little party at our place tonight, did you want to come?”
