“Yes sir!” Keira saluted, before giggling and getting into the back of the car. They drove in silence for the better part of ten minutes before Keira became inquisitive. “So how does this work? We ask them to come with us nicely, and if they say no you tranq them?”

Hope smiled back at her. “Sort of. People who are new to their power tend to freak out, but while they may be angry and violent, a lot of times they’re just confused. Still dangerous, so you have to be ready to protect yourself.”

“This one sounds violent.” Keira noted.

Alaric cocked an eye and looked in the rearview mirror. “Does that mean my daughters are off the menu?”

“No, I still want to fuck them.” Keira smiled sweetly, causing Hope to frown at her. “I’m just giving him a hard time.”

“Partly.” Hope noted, cocking an eye at her.

“Anyways,” Alaric rolled his eyes. “Its impressive that you could withstand Hope’s fire.” Alaric noticed the glare leveled at him by the redhead. “Even at half strength, but you’re not a trained fighter, so let us take the lead.”

“Are you a trained fighter?” Keira asked out of curiosity.

“I specialize in scholastics, but I am indeed a trained knife fighter, and Hope is very skilled with her crescent moon knives.” He replied.

“How did you choose such a unique weapon?” Keira asked, turning her attention to Hope.

“I did an essay on Chinese weapons, and I thought they looked cool, so I made them with my powers. I asked Alaric if I could learn how to fight with them, and since he can summon them, he said yes. I’ve never looked back.”

“Why two?” The pink haired beauty asked.

“They’re always used in pairs.” Hope shrugged, glancing at her lover. “Why swords?”

Kiera blushed softly. “First thing that came to mind.”

Keira burst into laughter, surprised by Hope’s audacious quip. “In his defense, he is surrounded by college girls.”

“College girls who want passing grades, a little tongue lashing could bump a fail to a pass really quick.” Hope smirked.
