Yes, you arrived at Nakemo Village.

If you expected the sight you were welcomed with when you first saw Nakemo Village ? Maybe a bit... Okay, you knew what you would see. This time you could put a name on the architectural style of the village, thanks to Zeromus opening a portal to your world for his proposal, which in turn made some memories flood your mind, but where were we again ? Oh right, what you were seeing.

The village in itself was far too big to be a village, at least to you. Traditionnal Japanese architecture everywhere, spreading pretty much as far as the eye could see. It was going really well with the cherry blossom trees growing about everywhere too. The thing really amazing though wasn't the architecture, since even in your broken memories, you remembered the Japanese architecture to be represented everywhere. Here, the truly amazing thing was the inhabitants of the village : Vixens, everywhere your eyes landed, there were vixens. Something strange though, was that there was almost no male vixens around. You were seeing about one male vixen for twenty or so females, which was strange, but you didn't say a word about it.

"This is Nakemo Village, home of the vixens." Said Rei, her smile still on her face. "Come and follow me now."

She then resumed her walk, walking far quicker than before you arrived there, which made it a bit difficult for you to follow through, as you both passed under the large torii (or Japanese arch) that seemed like it was welcoming either visitors or returning vixens. It was for sure amazing to get to pass under such a structure, which was different from anything you remember seeing with your own eyes.

You continued following Rei, getting by her side after a while of catching up, since you didn't want to go too fast to not exhaust yourself, which could happen at any moment. Then, you looked around you, at the village and its habitants around you since you caught up to Rei in the village. Well, was it a good idea ? Not really, as you caught most of the vixens you passed by, if not all of them, staring at you, a mix of defiance and fear in their eyes for some reason, making you highly uncomfortable.

Rei seemed to feel uncomfortable too, since she started walking even faster, but not for long, as the both of you ended up in front of a fairly medium sized house, before Rei knocked at its door lightly, only twice, pulling back her hand to wait for an answer.

When the door opened, you instantly recognized Rei's father, by his green eyes, and strangely enough, by the shape of his ears. They had the same kind of foxy ears, long and thin, despite his ears' fur being blond, like his hair and tail, which made you wonder just how much you stared at Rei's ears in the past. Your train of thought was quickly interrupted by Rei's father though, who asked her daughter.

"Rei, I'm glad you came back, but why with a stranger ? Worse, a human ?"

"Dad..." Started Rei, visibly saddened by his reaction, her ears already drooping. "I told you so many times, you can't just say that in front of the one you're talking about. He's not even a bad guy !"

"I have yet to see that, Rei, and I don't think I'll ever see that from a pesky human."

He was about to close the door on both you and Rei, but you passed your arm in the opening of the door, making you grunt in pain when the door stopped on your arm, almost crushing it between it and its enclosure, before Rei's father opened it once more, looking very annoyed.

"What do you want from me ? I don't have anything to do with you."

"So that's how it works here ?" You replied coldly, holding the arm you used to block the door. "Forgive my language, but why the fuck are you that hostile ? It don't serve any kind of purpose here."

Your cold answer took aback both Rei and her father, the latter looking thoughtful for a moment, before reluctantly sighing.

"I will never understand your kind... But come in, my daughter made the journey to Nakemo with you, so that must mean that you can't be so bad of a human..."
