The wooden floor, the sliding doors, the tatamis on the ground, everything was there, and yes, you had to remove your boots. If the exterior of the house was already something you found impressive, the interior looked as impressive as the exterior, if not more, as you follow Rei's father.

You didn't have to follow him for long, as he slid open a door, revealing an empty room, aside from the tatamis on the ground and a... Chair, of some kind. He went and sat on the chair, while Rei sat on her legs, motoining for you to do the same, which you obviously did.

"Dad, is my mother there ?" Rei asked while you were sitting on your own legs. "I thought that she would be here today."

Rei's father's closed his eyes after hearing his daughter's question. It looked like it wasn't something he wanted to talk about at all. Reluctantly, he eventually decided to say.

"I would have preferred too, but she was kidnapped." He said, his words making Rei jump on her feet, before asking, both in shock and fear.

"But why ? And who would even do that ? We aren't even considered as-"

Before she could finish her sentence though, her father abruptly cut her.

"Stop ! I told you I don't like to hear about that, and even less now that your mother is probably concerned !"

It was your turn to jump on your feet, ready to intervene if anything bad happened. Well, you didn't have to, as Rei slowly looked down, before finally sitting on her legs again, her head down and her ears drooped. Her tail wasn't moving at all, while her father gazed angrily at you, waiting for you to sit down too, something that you didn't do at all, even starting to look right back at him.

Why did something have to happen everywhere you were going ? That wasn't fair from the world ! But this time, it wasn't about you, it was about your friend, and when you looked at Rei, it was clear that she wouldn't be able to do anything by herself to change the situation.

"Sit down, human ! In this village, you have to show the vixens some respect." Suddenly said Rei's father, looking both angry at you and sad... Sad to see his daughter in this state. At least he had a heart, but it didn't make you sit either way, as you continued to stand there, before taking a long, deep breath, to finally lightly slap Rei's cheek, in front of her father, which wasn't a very good idea, but he'll have to deal with it, since you started talking to Rei.

I think being on the verge of tears isn't something that suits you, and we both know that a **** can't just happen like that, so I think I have an idea of what to do, which is pretty obvious when you think about it." You then turned to her father, who opened his mouth to yell at you, but only closed it when you put your index in front of your lips. She knows what happened, and if you ask her, she will surely tell you everything, since you are a vixen."

"As you wish, dad..." She simply answered, before getting up once more. "We will go now, sorry to have bothered you."

"No, don't be sorry. This human you brought seems to be sure of him, and if I'm lucky, it isn't just a facade."

Afterwards, both you and Rei started walking out of the room, but you stopped right before getting out, to turn around and say.

"Oh, and my name is not 'this human', it's Adam, please."
