"So can you tell me why are they picking on you?" You asked still trembling wyvern.

She raised her head, but then started to retreat in panic.

"They are here." She whispered. "We should run away."

"They won't see us." Fairy stood up, her bottom half still in your pocket. "That was extraordinary, David, thank you. We should repeat it." You smiled at her when she was stretching her arms. "I put a blending spell on us and a blinding one on them. David filled me up so my magic works better than usual."

You pat her on the head gently, and she hugged your finger.

"By the way why did they chase us? Shouldn't the music spell stop them from doing anything harmful?"

"Dragons are extremely resilient and aggressive creatures. That was them playing as nice and tame as possible. I believe they would continue to tease and hurt Salahea here with words." Doris explained. "Don't worry now, you are safe."

"Th-thank you." She answered while totally not wiping away tears from her face, her eyes were clearly just sweating.

"So can you explain why did they choose to bully you?" You crossed your arms on your chest and leaned against a pole.

"I used to be a scout at the service of Lord Siax, one of the minor demons here. They were serving a rival Lord, and in a raid in which they participated they managed to destroy everything I was hired to protect." She said, finally overcoming her shaking hands.

"But it didn't end there?"

"No. I encountered them the second time when they were recruiting new members to their company. I didn't have much of a choice, being a mercenary without contract or master, so I tried it. That was probably the biggest mistake I made in my life. Along with several other recruits we were endlessly being teased and used for most degrading jobs, it was like we were their servants. I had it worse, since wyverns are cousins of dragons. We are weaker, slower, and can't breathe fire like them. A perfect target for them." She looked at you directly.

For some reason you liked looking at her face, and you were starting to feel something towards her. You cursed in your mind this twisted world that was teasing and tempting you at every step.

"Then the war happened. Two overseers of this area, Khaj and Mistress, broke their arrangements and started to recruit everyone that was willing to join. Dragons chose to be neutral and entire unit got almost wiped out. Only four of us survived. I told them I'm leaving when we reached this camp but they just don't want to leave me alone."

"We should take her with us." She said shortly while sitting in your pocket, her head sticking out and observing the situation.

"I think Kelara will agree. Layla night take some convincing, but... Salahea, how well do you know these lands?" You asked her.

"What do you mean? I've been into a lot of places since my hatching."

"Can you be our guide in the journey west? We could use one, especially now that these lands are being shaken by the war." You explained why you asked.

"Yes. Yes, I could be that. I'll be the best damned guide you've ever seen, much better than those dragons!" She almost shouted and then covered her mouth.

"Spell still works, but be careful." Doris responded to wyvern being loud.

"One more question. Did you try to hit on me because of them?"

She stayed quiet for a few seconds now, considering her answer.

"They've been endlessly teasing me about one of the sensitive subjects. I never did it... Never had sex. With a male. And I knew they never had a human. I heard them talking about it."

"David, we should run." Fairy interrupted you.
