Ororo: What did he do to Scott?

Taking what I remembered from the X-Men series cannon, I deduced what the professor did to Scott. Not that I could actually come right out and say that so lied and leaned into the fact that I was a telepath. Judging by the fact that others in this want to hear what I'm about to say they suspected the same.

Antonio: It's exactly what you suspect Charles has tampered with his mind and I suspect he has done the same to everyone here

It was like a gunshot went off as Wolverine immediately lunged at the professor just before having his mind shut down. Storm's fingers flashed with electricity before restraining herself, but Scott tried to deny reality as he collapsed on the floor. His reaction was to refute my claim, but he stopped unsure if the thought was truly his own. He even looked at Jean in horror and confusion was she a victim like him or was she like the professor? Whatever the answer was he wanted nothing to do with her as of now. Scott no longer felt safe in the presence of a telepath.

Antonio: After Charles shut off the hairy guy with claws mind I took the liberty of shielding everyone else's

Charles glared at me but said nothing as nothing he could say would repair the damage without his telepathic power.

Antonio: In case you are all wondering Jean also seems to be a victim although I'm unsure as she is far more powerful than he is

That seemed to shock everyone not just because she was a victim but because she was more powerful than Charles.

Jean: I think that is because I have been with him since I was a child

Antonio: Now that makes sense that bald Fucker has been messing with people's heads since a young age. Probably why he opened a school after perfecting his techniques on all of you.

Resentment could be seen on their faces plane as day. This looked like the end of the X-Men and it wasn't because of a villain they couldn't fight but because of a dirty secret being exposed.

Charles: That's not true my goal has always been to help young mutants harness their gifts and learn to live peacefully side by side with humanity!

Antonio: By any means necessary it seems. So obsessed with your goal you lost sight of those you were supposed to protect. Worse still you began to do more harm to them than any anti-mutant hate groups.

In the end, Charles was locked up in the compound with a power inhibitor collar made by Hank Mccoy while his mind was shielded. This was done to prevent Charles from knowing how it was made to prevent his escape and to prevent him from influencing Hank's mind to make a flaw.

Jean was terrified by what Charles had done and asked if I could treat her to which I agreed but I warned that I was not a professional psychic surgeon. Which was a minor slip-up on my part as such things were common in Prime world and used to treat traumas. This term didn't go unnoticed but was for now ignored in favor of dealing with the more serious problem of figuring out how much damage was done by Charles. It wasn't too hard to discover the hidden backdoor in Jean's mind but that is don't consider the fact that Charles had zero outside training and developed his abilities entirely on his own in a world with an underdeveloped psychic understanding.

Entering Jean's mind was kind of the main reason I came to the school in the first place although, in all honesty, I thought it would take much longer. I also never suspected that Jean would be the one to ask me to do so. Inside Jean's mind, I found a massive cage in which I could feel amounts of anger and pain. It truly made me wonder how such a powerful being could be caged by such a lowly mortal even with psychic powers it made no sense.
