Xaviers School for the gifted pt 1

Arriving at the school took longer than I thought as it was far removed from any particular neighborhood. It was pretty much the middle of nowhere it looked and smelled of old money. Seeing so many happy faces made me a little annoyed as I knew that if any of them had any significant power Professor X would turn them into soldiers. Then he would justify it as a necessary sacrifice for the greater good. I have always hated those types who hide behind the veil of good to do evil things. He may try to sugarcoat it but to me, he is just a cult leader who doesn't mind leaving a trail of bodies to achieve his goals.

While I was waiting I talked to some of the passing children. A few mutant teen girls even hit on me while I waited but I just gently shooed them off because I knew they just teasing. I was very tempted to just zap a lot of the girls right here right now but I resisted the urge. Fortunately, I didn't have to wait too long as Ororo with a bald man greeted me and Angelus.

Ororo: Antonio it is good to see you and I see brought someone with you

Antonio: It is good to see...

I stopped mid-sentence and turned my head to glare at the man standing next to her. That's right STANDING this world's Professor X was never crippled but that didn't seem to change his stance on causally trying to read people's minds. So I sent a telepathic message to stay the fuck out of my mind. Which caused him to fall on his ass and stare in shock at me.

Ororo: Charles what happened?!

Antonio: I'm sorry Ororo I don't believe I will stick around here

Ororo: Antonio what is going on?!

Antonio: I don't appreciate people casually trying to dip into my mind without consent such actions are no different than ****

The entire room became still when I said what had occurred. Especially because of who I claimed to be the assailant.

Charles: I didn't mean any harm it was just a greeting!

Antonio: I'm a telepath too I know the difference between someone trying to send a greeting and someone trying to enter your mind don't try to change black to white with me!

(honestly, I always wanted to say that line but never had the chance)

The bombshell that I was a psychic seemed to rock the entire school. The fact that Charles also tried to mind-**** me began to spread all around the school. What was supposed to be a peaceful get-together now threatened to be a media sensation. If it wasn't stopped soon people were going to cancel Charles on social media. Fortunately, the teachers were able to take control before things spiraled too far out of control.

We were then escorted to Charles's private office and offered tea which neither of us took. Me because I need to continue to look like I didn't trust them anymore and Angelus because she didn't care. Instead, Angelus created a goblet of wine for herself and a bag of Doritos shocking them quite a bit. Scott summers Just glared at us the entire time as he didn't like that I called Charles a mind-****, especially in front of the entire school. I knew he couldn't he has been conditioned to be Charles's perfect soldier all his life.

Charles: Ehm... I would first like to apologize for my rude actions earlier

Antonio: Then go ahead and apologize

Scott: Don't fuck with the Professor he is being sincere

Antonio: Is this how this school handles things? Attacking the VICTIM? Instead of offering a real apology, you say that you would like to, not that you are willing to apologize

Charles: Scott stand down he is right! I'm sorry for invading your mind I had no ill intention it is a bad habit that I have when I meet new people

I wasn't going to let him off that easily especially since he allowed his attack dog to test the waters for him.

Antonio: Going by that logic Then I think you owe everyone here an apology if not the entire school

That seemed to catch everyone's attention as I just hinted at what he has done using his own words against him.

Scott: Hey Don't cross the line by accusing the professor...

Antonio: Charles shut your dog up or I will

Charles: How dare...

Antonio: How dare I what? Point out the truth I didn't realize when I first met him but the longer he is around the clearer it becomes. I can't even be angry with him because of what you have done to him. You disgust me! I can't believe someone could do such a thing to another while pretending to be a good person.

A look of realization passes through everyone's face except Scott the only one in the room not connecting the dots of what I was implying. Wolverine even began to bring claws glaring at the professor but Ororo placed her hand on his shoulder then looked at me she wanted me to say it she needed to hear it. It is what she dreads but she couldn't turn away and pretend she needs to know.

Ororo: What did he do to Scott?
