Time to Dr. Strange this shit

In Jean's mental world, I saw what appeared to be some kind of metaphorical cage made up of Jean's psychic power. Seeing that the Phoenix **** wasn't in the right state of mind I didn't beat around the bush.

Phoenix ****: How can a mortal being such as yourself dare to Bargain with me?

Antonio: Well this mortal didn't exactly come alone and unprepared

As if on cue Angelus made herself known using our connection to communicate indirectly with the Phoenix ****. I of course had to sensor most of what she tried to convey as it was, mostly threats and insults. The Phoenix **** noticed this but chose not to comment on it since I had prevented the insults.

Phoenix ****: If you have such a being with you, what do you want from me?

Antonio: I want your host and your aid in helping me expand my harem

Phoenix ****: Such a petty and small goal but you dare to covet my host? (somewhat angry and amused)

Antonio: I wouldn't suggest such a thing I wasn't prepared to offer a solution. First I will help you remove the corruption from you caused by Charles's meddling and then I would provide you with a custom body without a consciousness. This way you and you alone can decide your actions without needing to nudge or concede to your host.

That offer seemed to stop her cold on whatever she planned to say as the Phoenix **** began to reexamine its position. Eventually, She agreed to the deal on the condition that we wouldn't interfere with what she does to Charles for imprisoning her. It honestly wasn't a hard ask from my side as I didn't like how Charles pretended to be a good guy while doing evil shit. Most of my efforts were used on actually removing the corruption but it wasn't possible to do so all at once (at least not for me). So I would need many sessions alone with Jean, which was a bonus as it gave me a reason to return.

Leaving Jean's mind I informed her about the damage Charles has done which instantly pissed her off and I had to calm her down. It wasn't afterward to convince her to agree to treatment to help undo the damage I also never mentioned the phoenix **** that dwells in her body as I don't know how she would react.

Returning to the Baxter building I was disappointed to find that Sue was with the fantastic Four fighting Kang the Conqueror and wouldn't be back for a few days. With nothing better to do, I finally decide to go through those intern forms. Also as nice as it was to have Sue playing sexcretary I need a real secretary for times like these when she isn't here. Although I was a paper pusher before I became rich I was never fond of actually doing the work.

Looking through the applicants I was surprised to see Gwen Stacy's name considering she is already Spiderwoman in this reality. Then again she probably had free time considering the multiple spider people that exist here so she didn't need to always fight crime. Although I'm technically a bad guy capturing various women and manipulating everyone I wouldn't mind having another hero hanging around to seduce. Looking through the rest of the applicants I was surprised yet again to find Cindy Moon (Silk), Anya Sofía Corazón (Spider-Girl), Ava Ayala (White Tiger), Noriko Ashida (Surge), Sooraya Qadir (Dust), and all five of the Stepford Cuckoos.

Some of the girls probably genuinely applied with good intentions while others were plants set to observe me. Although some were just plain obvious as they applied after my reveal at the X-mansion not that I was complaining. Honestly, some guys applied but I immediately disregarded those. Why would I want another guy around me when I could have another woman?

Looking through my emails I once again ignored the offers from various male scientists. As long as they weren't associated with hot female characters I didn't care what they wanted. Eventually, I found three that could meet up with soon with low impact should they go missing or if I could use them. The three I decided on were Dr. Kavita Rao, Dr. Valerie Cooper, and Dr. Ashley Kafka.

Because this had taken too much of my time I decided to put a notice online stating I was looking for a capable assistant. I figured a new handsome and wealthy genius looking for an assistant what could go wrong?
