Wry and Callous Grin → Submissive and Devoted Smile

...and wipe that annoying smirk off Lilian's face by swapping her 'wry and callous grin' with a 'submissive and devoted smile.' Why not get a start on fixing that awful personality, after all, while making her a better ****-maid at the same time?

The walls lose all of their decor and turn to plain brick, although the two paired-lamp fixtures remain. The bed, if anything, gets slightly fancier as its red headboard acquires red padding, and Lilian... Her body seems to grow more slender, thin, and dainty as she loses some weight while her hair loses the last trappings of its nobility.

It's still styled pretty much the same way but the cut is much more peasant-ish in vibe, ranging from the strange angle at which it's cut in the back, to the lack of styling beyond drawing it into those two long bangs and just kind of... hacking off the rest behind it. Her hands are also drawn closer together behind her, giving her a less proud and more submissive posture. Lilian's dress then changes a bit, naturally. The sleeves become shoulder-length, while the white panel in the center of her corset turns black, with brass buttons., and her skirt acquires a frilly white apron.

Supposedly she's still stuck-up and arrogant, but it's hard to see that with the level of humility she just got slapped in the face with. And it's kind of comical to think about how that might manifest in combination with everything else I'm doing. Like, what's she proud of? Being a submissive maid **** and devoting herself to her master?

The irony of it almost makes me want to keep the phrase around, but phrases so naturally attuned to shaping someone's disposition are usually a bit rarer than this so I'm sure I can do something equally fun by swapping it out at some point as well. Anyway, now that I'm not being constantly reminded of how socially-braindead this woman was before I started, I think my mood's a fair bit better.
