With cold and warm

At night Islanders are expected to sleep in the same bed as the person they coupled with. The bed is rather spacious, and all Islanders have to sleep in two-rows of bed lined only a couple meters apart, cabin style with no privacy. Jamie settled into his own bed as a new arrival. Islanders who weren’t couple up with anyone slept by themselves.

The other beds were assigned to Rick and Liz, you and Jenna, Tom and Paige, and Mike and Rachel. The first night is usually the most awkward. It felt like summer camp all over again, except with the added nerve of someone of the opposite sex sleeping in the same bed. Just one of the many ways this place accelerated physical relationships for TV viewers. Most, on the first night at least, kept safe distances from each other.

Jenna is already in her nightgown and puts her phone on the charger on the bedstand next to the bed. She hops in and pulls the blanket over her.

This was weird. You were expected to sleep in the same bed together as per the rules. You were in your shorts and a plain shirt and got into bed next to her.

“Good night,” Jenna says to you and turns over and lies on the opposite side of the bed.

“Night, guys!” Liz yells out.

A minute later, the lights all turn off in the villa and even the blinders are automatically closed. You take a look at your phone while lying down on your side of the bed next to Jenna. How the heck were you supposed to be her big spoon? It would be creepy to just put your arms around her right now. Maybe when she was asleep? No, that was even creepier.

Before you could place your phone on the charger on the stand next to your bedside, a notification popped up.

Suddenly you hear a faint noise, as If fans were starting out in the distance.

You whisper to Jenna, “Hey, Jenna?”

“Yeah?” Jenna answers, her back still turned to you.

“Sorry about kissing you today… I really had no one else to kiss, and I don’t want you to think that I think you are the type of girl that would do something like that.” You explain.

“It’s fine. It happened a long time ago, so I’m over it,” Jenna says.

Jenna surprises you by turning over to face you. You were still separated by some distance on your big bed but could feel the warmth emanating from her body, and the mint from her freshly brushed teeth.

“You’re a really good kisser, by the way. That surprised me,” Jenna says. In the dark, you can kind of make out a smile coming from her mouth.

“Really? Honestly… I was just trying to get it over with.” It was the truth. You didn’t felt like you put a lot into it.

“No, it was really really good. Trust me,” Jenna says. “Like it’s weird… I was thinking about that kiss the entire day. I’m still thinking about it…”

Jenna sounded sincere. What point is there in trying to flatter you? But you didn’t feel that kiss was special in any way. It was great for you because it was with an extremely attractive girl you liked, but she had made it out like it was something out of Breakfast at Tiffany’s where both of you were eating each other’s faces in the pouring rain. Could it be the AMA really worked on her? But that’s science fiction and fantasy… The other helping hands seemed doable behind the scenes by the production crew but altering a person’s response to a kiss? That’s supernatural.

Spending the points on the Addictive Kisser perk would have to be a priority though you can’t see the possibility of kissing anyone anytime soon, at least consensually.

You could hear the clacking of teeth as Jenna shivers in front of you.

“Are you alright? Do you have a cold?” You asked.

“I’m just a bit cold,” Jenna says.

“Do you want more of my blanket?” You asked.

“No.. you’ll be cold too,” Jenna says.

You decide to be bold. It was just going to be some spooning. You weren’t tied together. Jenna was cold. You were helping her out. Just do it.

“Do you want me to come closer and hold you?” You asked.

“Yeah… if you want to,” Jenna says, teeth still clattering.

Jenna turns around, and you inch closer to her. You put your body behind her shivering back and pull the blankets closer as you wrap them around your coupled form. You put your arm around her waist, and shes pulls her back towards you like a wave gently pushing itself onto a shore. You held her there, and suddenly the fan you hear in the distance quiet, and a warm heat emanates over you two and the center of the bed where you lie.

For whatever reason, you weren’t nervous as you felt your calm heartbeat thud against her back and drifted off to sleep, enveloping Jenna’s small body into yours.
