You stretch out and let out a yawn. Jenna was next to you on the bed, still sleeping soundly. You scrunch your face and look at the clock. 7:20. Everyone was still sound asleep, and you decide to take a quick cold shower and brush your teeth as per your regular morning routine.

Coming back to your bedstand, your phone sitting in its charger displayed 7:59 and you watch it turn to 8:00. Suddenly the blinding house lights flood the room and the window blinds slide open automatically pouring in sunlight into the previously dark cabin style bedroom dorms.

All the Islanders groan at being woken up.

“Too fucking early,” You hear Mike moan, squinting at the sunlight and covering his face with a pillow.

Jenna wakes up and stretches, her hair tousled, and faint drool covering her mouth. Despite her having no make-up and looking hungover, she still looked beautiful. Some people have all the luck. You grab your phone and head out before the rush of guys head to the toilets for their morning whiz, and the line of girls head to the showers and makeup room.

While you walked downstairs, you pulled out your phone and checked your notifications.

You can’t exactly change that while you’re on this island. Your body, however… you decide to let it go for now. You would work on your body later. Now was the time for food.

Making your way to the outdoor kitchen and grill near the patio, you checked the refrigerator which was now stocked up with produce brought in last night by the production crew and other various food items, including protein drinks, sponsored energy drinks, and bottles of water.

It would be a good idea to cook food for everyone in the villa. You start beating eggs and popping slices of rye bread in the toasters, cutting open avocados and thinly slicing them and then later putting on a pot of coffee and the kettle.

As the islander make their way down, they see the spread of food at the kitchen and crowd around like buffet patrons.

“Holy shit Matt, did you make all this for yourself?” Paige asked.

“No, I made it for you guys. Come have some if you want,” You say. Buzz.

“Thanks, Matt,” Liz says and grabs a plate and some tea.

Paige and Jenna both grab a cup of coffee. Tom and Jamie helped themself to extra eggs and grabbed a protein drink from the refrigerator. You grabbed your own toast and dab your eggs vigorously with hot sauce and make your way to Rick, who looked grumpy and sullen and sitting by himself in a nook bench, to have a conversation.
