With the eyes of a bird of prey you notice that each time Avery casts a spell his gauntleted hand holds a strange pendent around his neck, thinking to yourself it has to be a spell focus (Divine Focus but you don’t know any better) the thought occurs to you to swipe it from him and minimize the amount of healing and damage he can do.

So spreading your black raven wings wide and picking your target carefully you soar into the sky from your perch in the canopy, the sun hiding your ascent and approach only a thin shadow hitting the ground marking your passage as you close the distance between you and the cleric. With a dive like a fishing eagle you reach for the pendant on your foe's neck.

Swooping back up into the sky it feels as if you are carrying more weight than you are supposed to and only make it about 10 feet up before you feel magic gathering in the air, a brief flash of light is seen before the scantily dressed Sheila turns from a goddess to a potted plant.

The Minotaurs are running wild. One of the twins, the one with the axes, is chopping into Leonard fast and hard, both strikes taking a chunk out of his arm and drastically reducing his health pool. The Old bull is currently fighting with Avery making slashing motions with both Hooves and horns, and the other twin is running dead on towards the now potted plant that was Sheila. Vance is staggering around swinging wildly and accidentally cuts the ropes holding one of the bound minotaur males. As he stands up his massive horns take Avery right in the side in a vicious gore. His lifeless body dissolving into a gray mist and leaving behind a bag on the ground.

Taking advantage of the carnage, you dash for the sorceress turned plant and pick her up, hurling her as an improvised weapon at Leonard. Avery’s eyes follow the arc of his lover turned weapon as it strikes true. The potted plant shatters, spraying dirt and clay pottery over the enemies face and body. Two puffs of grey smoke tell of the end to both parties involved. The Cleric’s murderous gaze turns to you. Seeing your **** in his eyes you turn and take flight leaping high in the air before unfurling your wings, aiming into the foliage of the surrounding forest in a **** attempt to break line of sight.

“Hurry into the woods, he is alone now. He can’t get all of us.” The words echo out over the now ruined camp. Two of the bound minotaurs ended up getting killed but the other eight are now free and in varying states of health. All of them turn and begin rushing into the forest following after your winged figure.

The Old Bull is the last to follow as he turns to face Avery just before reaching the forest proper. A dull green glow briefly surrounds the massive paw of the creature, before he uses a throwing motion and the energy arcs lightly before landing a few feet in front of the charging Cleric. The vines, roots and other plant life grow rapidly as each tries to establish a hold on the feet of the enemy warrior. It takes seconds before he is halted and almost tied in place. This allows the time for you and the others to successfully escape.

After running for the better part of the day away from the camp and the enraged Cleric, you turn back towards Victor’s Tower. The band of minotaurs is still following you.
