Wish #2: Listen to me [main story]

Jeannie looked at the dim, cheerful expression on Johnny's face, & couldn't help but wonder if she had made a mistake. Yes, countless years performing favors for ungrateful humans from a magical prison had given her a bit of a cruel streak in terms of wish granting, so it was natural for her to throw a little monkey's paw in where she could.

Still, Johnny seemed like a nice enough guy. While her twist on his first wish guaranteed a life free from anxiety, it was also probably not great for maintaining a job (or interacting with the world in general.) Probably good to go a little over the top on the next one to make up for it.

"Heyyy, Johnny, how you doing buddy? I, uh... hope I got that first wish right!"

"Oh, you know, it's cool!" Johnny laughed & shrugged. "It's not exactly what I asked for, but it's pretty funny. It'll probably be fine." He trailed off as he caught himself staring at Jeannie's perfect breasts. "Hey, did anyone ever tell you that you've got _amazing _tits?"

Jeannie laughed at his newfound openness, slightly mortified. "I'm glad that you loosened up a bit, but you should probably think twice before you say things like that." She nodded sagely, trying her best to appear wise, before hastily adding, "Oh, I wasn't trying to threaten you! I mean, I do have nigh-omnipotent powers, & I wouldn't hesitate to obliterate you, but I definitely do have great boobs."

She gave them a shake for emphasis, obviously satisfied by their gentle bouncing. "I just mean that you probably shouldn't say every thought that comes into your head. You're gonna turn a lot of people off."

Johnny blushed, knowing he had fucked up but still unable to pry his eyes from Jeannie's body. He would definitely need to watch his mouth. On the other hand, his newfound candor might do him so good. He'd always felt like he had trouble getting people to take him seriously, or pay him much attention at all.

"I'm sorry! I guess... I just wish that people would listen to me, you know?"

The air filled again with the strange whooshing as a grin spread across Jeannie's face. "Got it! Listen up, world, it's Johnny's time to shine!" She winked & repeated her pantomime routine, sending a stream of sparks from her fingertip to Johnny's chest.

"Alright, buddy, now people will listen to every word you say. They'll answer any question you ask, & do anything you say!" Jeannie laughed musically, clearly satisfied with her solution. "There! I'm not so bad, right?"
