She twirled the next card between her fingers. As it turned you caught a glimpse of some kind of rainbow-coloured swirl.

"Ooh, this is a fun one," said the goddess. "You got the Wild Card. Anything and everything can happen, even as you're living out your new life. Maybe samurai will pop out of nowhere. Maybe you'll be visited by spirits on your next birthday and be declared the new Demon Lord. Whatever happens, it'll be fun. For me to watch, anyway."
