Whirlwind Arrivals

A whirling sound echoed as the tramcar closed in on reaching the top of Kaster Mountain, inside Rachel White stood handing onto stabilizing bar while staring at the door, ready to bolt out the moment it opened. Behind her were the main trio of friends she always spent time with on campus, there was Kailyn Jackson, a beautiful ebony girl who was her absolute closest friend who just so happened to be JJ's older sister. Bella Greene, a drop dead gorgeous redhead with a bust that rivaled hers. She was another close friend but in a different way than Kailyn, much more...intimate at times. Then lastly there was Scott West, the well mannered, soft spoken, attractive senior on the school who sometimes felt he was in a tug of war between the three girls.

Only yesterday the group was still on campus at Bear Mountain University, sticking inside their dorm rooms, enjoying the occasional frat party, with their biggest adventure of maybe going down the nearby mall in Dartwin sometime during the week. It wasn't the more exciting of ways to spend a winter break, but the four were quite content with themselves, at least they were. It was like lightning struck when Rachel found the photo that her younger brother Brian posted online the other day, showing off his family lodge as well as the new girl he had wrapped around him; Mindy.

Mindy was not the kind of girl for her brother, that much Rachel knew, and if she was with him at the lodge that only met that he was slipping back into his sleazeball attitude of using girls as a means to an end. Rachel never could stomach that; Brian broke hearts constantly, saying whatever he needed to get them into bed without a care of who was hurt along the way. Rachel had her fun, but that's exactly how she kept it, fun. No one was hurt, no one was pressured into anything, casual sex was one of her absolute favorite pastimes but not when at the end of the night the person she was fucking ended up heartbroken and she would be damned if she was going to sit by and watch her brother do it to a girl she'd known for years now.

So in a snap decision, Rachel decided that she was going to invade the lodge to keep an eye on the little devil she was related to. Kailyn, in turn, asked to come along since she knew her little brother would be there as well, and had been looking for an excuse to go see him. Bella and Scott were both convinced to come along easily enough, the only word Bella needed to hear was hot tub and Scott...he only needed a few batting eyelashes and a soft "Please," from Rachel to agree. With only minutes remaining before they reached the lodge, Rachel couldn't have been more impatient.

"I swear to God, I am going to have my father tear this thing right off the mountain and build a brand new one that actually fucking moves," Rachel growled under her breath, "We've been in here forever!"

"It's been ten minutes, Rach, take a chill pill," Bella replied as she continued to stare down at her phone without a care,

"She's right, we'll get there when we get there," Scott agreed in a soothing tone, "Getting upset over it won't make it go any faster,"

"I know!" Rachel snapped back before shutting her eyes and letting out a calming breath, "Sorry, I'm just stressed. Brian has always ground my gears over the years but to think about that little fucking prick taking advantage of that poor girl," Rachel explained, thinking of the usually reserved and quiet Mindy she'd come to know, "It makes me want to puke,"

"You're not the only one," Kailyn remarked with a small shake of her head, glancing up from her phone, "I've been texting JJ, asking about everything, and he says that Brian and Mindy are...ahem, quite close as of last night,"

"Oh he better fucking not have," Rachel hissed, her eyes flaring at the thought that her brother stole Mindy's virginity and was more than likely about to toss her aside for his next conquest,

"According to him, Mindy had been acting pretty weird since getting to the lodge and suddenly stuck to Brian like glue. They've been acting love struck the last few days and Mindy can't seem to get enough...geez, JJ is fucking pissed," Kailyn noted under her breath as she continued to reread the texts he had been sending her, now noticing just how more insulting and direct they were when it came to Brian.

"He's gonna be nothing compared to me once I get hands on that little fucking twerp, I am going to --" Rachel began to seethe only for Bella to abruptly interrupt her,

"This is Kaster Mountain, right? And this lodge is the only one on it?" The redhead asked with a small tilt of her head,

"Yeah, why?" Rachel asked back with a bit of confusion,

Bella turned her phone to the others and on it was a new addition to Brian's posts, this one being a party flyer that was inviting damn near everyone he could to a party at the lodge, "Tonight?" Scott asked in surprise while inspecting the image, "Live music, ****, food, and "Privacy" yeah, that'll definitely get people to show up," The twenty-two-year-old hummed with a small shake of his head,

"Oh yeah, I am now way happier I decided to come with you guys," Bella grinned, her tongue pressing against the roof of her mouth as she eager thought the party over, "I wonder if anyone from this would...bring me backstage,"

"Oh Jesus," Kailyn scoffed with a roll of her eyes,

"Don't be a prude, Kai, I'm sure there will be plenty of dick to go around," Bella teasingly fired back,

"And this is where I exit this conversation," Scott jumped from his seat between the two girls and moved to another on the other side of the car. As he moved. however, he noticed the inquisitive look on Rachel's face as she was clearly in deep thought, "You alright?"

"Brian knows that I'm coming up today and the first thing he does is immediately plan a party? That's...not how that works with him...no, he's planning something, I don't know what, but I'm going to fucking find out," Rachel replied to the teen just before the tram lurched to a stop and the doors rolled open, "Perfect lets go,"

The four college students marched up the snowy trail to the large ski-lodge and let themselves inside. Inside was a whirlwind of action, JJ and Anna was already sliding furniture around, Mindy had a bundle of string lights that she was actively wrapping around the stairwell banister, Nicole had a giant speaker held over her head as she brought it into the den, Kenny was looking over a list as long as his arm and Brian was in the center of it all, directing the group. The blonde looked over his shoulder, locking eyes with his older sister and let out a sly smile, "Oh good, you made it,"
