Where The Tests Begin

John knew it had to be true though he still had his doubts. The only way to be for certain was to test it. John climbed his way back up from the ditch and back onto the sidewalk. He looked down the street towards the convenience store and knew that’s where he was gonna go.

John didn’t know what clerk was going to be in given that it was midday and they always seemed to have high turn over. It took him only another minute or two walking to get to the store and from there he walked straight through the entrance. He then made his way to the liquor section. He had only had beer once or twice at parties but he figured attempting to buy it would make the perfect test.

John looked over the options and selected some cheap IPAs. Turning around and looking towards the counter John recognized the clerk as the balding manager unfortunately. He was the last person John wanted to see.
