Nora's Magnhild while still having the same design looked more unionized. The handle became one solid shaft, the locking mechanisms to allow it to switch from Grenades Launcher to Hammer becoming far less pronounced. Along with that the Head/Grenade Launcher also became more unionized with fewer parts and more weight. It also got a little rose sigil at the bottom of the shaft.

'While your design is great my lightning goddess, the fact that the hinges and locks are so exposed, means that those are the places where people are most likely to strike and we don't want that.'

Gambol Shroud esthetically didn't change much unlike Magnhild. The blade for the katana became longer, with a thorn vine decorating the base of the blade. The biggest change was to the ribbon, it was split in two. One was a razor wire thin yet deadly sharp, perfect for ensnaring Grimm before killing them. The other remained a ribbon used mainly for entanglement and capturing individuals.

'While this is super useful especially when using it as a kama, it not only leaves you wide open if the opponent gets to close, you only have your sheat,'

Pyrrha's Miló and Akoúo̱ where left unchanged as Pyrrha did not want to change what had been working great for her for a long time. Which had at first upset Ruby she had noticed multiple tiny flaws in Miló's design and this simply WILL NOT DO. Only the best for her team. She would have taken it by **** if not for Pyrrha being able to keep it to far up for Ruby to reach.

'But Pyrrha if I don't make the ammo slot a little bigger you might have it jam while your using it and I don't want my Red Mountain to die,'

Myrtenaster unlike the others had been okay by Ruby's standards. However she did want something for Weiss defensively bao she forged a sword breaker dagger for her to use. Weiss kept it and hadn't yet used it which Ruby was perfectly okay with. Unbeknownst to Ruby she had simply bin training with it so that when she finally did use it she could wow her team leader with an outstanding display.

'While it is sad to say that whoever made your rapier did an okay job I did make you a matching dagger, oh don't look at me like that frozen princess,'

The 2nd to last pair of weapons weren't in the locker but with Yang herself who was thankfully only using them as a set of weights while out in the town. In comparison to the original design made by Yang, dubbed the boxing shot since it was just a pair of boxing gloves with shotguns attached to the end. Ember Celica v2 where alot more compact than v1 being able to turn into 2 bracelets that wouldn't stand out too much. Along with that v2 also had a small retractable blade on on each gauntlet, specifically made for when punching sadly wasn't enough. This was rarely the case considering Yang was strong enough to punch through a steel construction beam, however Ruby only wanted her team to be prepared.

Last but definitely not least there was Ruby's baby Crescent Rose. Which had only gotten lighter and sharper with time. Going from an original 250 pounds (113 kilograms) of pure metal to a solid 100 pounds(45). The main upgrade and the one she was most proud of was her implementation of Dust into the blade. With the use of liquid Dust that would drip from the Chine (the part that holds the blade at the top) which she could the activate with her aura. The closet thing she could do to get to a Dust blade on her daughter.

Ruby checked her scroll to see that the default messaging app had been flooded with messages, all from other students who needed 'help' with maintenance of their weapons, or with some assignment for Smithing 101. Most had been offerings strawberries or cookies. Some of the bolder ones just offered money.

She rolled her eyes, some people have the audacity to deprive themselves of the knowledge they would need to survive shame on them.
