"Look" Wendy said. "Leave them alone for now. I'll call Lisa and see if she can talk her mom into giving Kaavya a match and Tikka a match against someone really good. By then Tikka won't probably even remember this match, she'll be paying less attention."

"...FINE." Dolly snatched her arm back.

"Wait, after all this we're not doing anything? What gives?" Chichi didn't even bother whispering, and Tikka and Kaavya both sat up straight and looked around.

"...Oh for fucks sake." Wendy turned around and left. Dolly followed her, then Chichi, and Melissa was the last one to leave. She kept stopping to look at what was going on between Tikka and Kaavya.

A week later, the girls were up in Lisa McVan's penthouse. Mighty Allison still wasn't there - none of them were sure exactly why - but Lisa was.

"Okay, so, Mom did actually make the matches for you guys. Kinda. So get this - she's got Tikka going up against Boss Bitch!"

Wendy whistled. "If Tikka wins that match, I propose we pretend none of this ever happened."

"Huh?"

"God dammit Chichi. Okay. If Tikka beats someone real good like Boss Bitch I don't think we should fuck with her anymore. Understand yet?"

Chichi rolled her eyes.

"Anyway you guys" Lisa was saying, "Might not be that easy. Because Kaavya's match? It's against you, Melissa."
