Welcome to the Multiversal Institute of Mind Control

I enter the portal and a weird feeling runs trough my body, after what feels like 10 seconds of walking i finally reach the end and i walk out of the portal, when i do i'm astonished at the sight, it's like a futuristic city, i can see a few buildings a little far away.

It's cold but not to much, then suddenly a great fear invades me, i thought the multiversal stuff in the information was just some exageration but i just walked trough a portal and arrived to the most advanced city i have ever seen so it was probably real after all, that means i can find anything in here, probably even non-humans and i don't know what kind of abilities or gadgets will they have, maybe someone brings a ray that can enslave me instantly or they bring protections so strong i can't do anything to them, when i'm starting to hiperventilate a notification hits my phone, it's that app again "Welcome to the Multiversal Institute of Mind Control, please follow the map to the induction hall, the induction starts in 15:00 minutes" a map has appeared in my phone showing me how to get to the induction hall, so i start walking, anxious to see my classmates for the first time.

As i walk i see a gold coin, i don't know if i should pick it up maybe it someone's or maybe not...
