As ready as I can be

So, the time has finally arrived, my parents are not home, they went on a trip 2 days ago, i don't know if that is related to the Mind Control School or they just decided to leave willingly, i see a notification on my phone, it's a text from Mom "Good Luck Honey, have fun, we can stay in contact trough text or email, we love you, we'll see you in a month, unless you end up enslaved, in that case we will never see you again" welp, everything was fine until that last part, anyways, it's way to soon to worry, i grab my backpack, and go wait in the living room, the transport is supposed to arrive at 9:00 Am so it should be only minutes away, i'm about to turn on the TV when a portal suddenly appears in the middle of the room, i'm shocked and frozen for a few seconds then i hear a notification from my phone, it's from an app i don't remember installing, it says "Multiversal Institute of Mind Control- Portal trasportation #017 has arrived, please enter as soon as possible" i shake the nerves a little and i decide to walk towards the portal, ready to start a life changing experience.
