Welcome to Corviet

We keep walking until we reach the city walls "oh wow" I say in awe at how high they were, no doubt they were made to be taller than the trees to prevent easy access from the woods. Quinara leads me to the where the river enters the city, it was eerily silent as the river had been frozen over, "fuck how are we meant to get in here" I say looking at the opening, if the water wasn't frozen we could have swam in but given recent history I did not want to get in that water again.

"Easy runt we're gonna climb round" Quinara states as if it's the most simple thing in the world, "EXCUSE ME WHAT!???" I say very alarmed by her response, "yeah look there's footing here" she says kicking a rimmed piece of the stone that jutted out barely an inch from the wall and went around the entire length of the wall into to city. I stare in disbelief "you cannot be serious" I say flabbergasted at the idea of doing that. "Come on runt it'll be fine, though try and think about things that aren't sexy, I'd hate to see it push you back into the water" she says teasing me about my cock once again. "Gods can you drop it please" I say my face getting crimson again, much to her amusement, "you're too easy to tease runt" she says.

Quinara takes advantage of my flustered state to begin climbing herself, she begins to delicately shuffle across the ledge her fingers gripping onto any protruding bricks to help her. My heart is in my throat as I see her huge frame held above possibly freezing to **** by the smallest sliver of her boots and her fingertips, she still had her bag and war hammer attached to her. However despite my fears Quinara's confidence isn't unfounded as she's able to stay hugging the wall perfectly fine making the perilous look effortless. "Come on runt it's fine" she says, every single part of me was screaming that this is not fine but seeing as how she started if I didn't want to get left behind I would have to follow suit.

I carefully grip a brick and step my foot onto the thin ledge hauling myself up, "see was that so hard runt?" She asks, I carefully begin to step round till I'm above the frozen river, "please let's just get this over with" I reply voice cracking with fear. Thankfully Quinara takes my words to heart and just gets moving, I follow carefully behind her.

It doesn't take long for Quinara to make it the full distance into the city, climbing down from the wall with ease. I try and follow her making my way ever closer, I'm almost all the way across when my grip slips and I begin to fall back towards the river as I fall I close my eyes in fear and grab out in front of me. To my surprise I grab onto something cold and metal and it halts my fall "huh?" I wonder as I open my eyes seeing my arms gripped onto the large head of Quinara's war hammer "I've got you runt" she says keeping me upright my feet are barely still on the lip. "Ok on three, I'm gonna yank you forward to me, I need you to jump from the ledge I'll catch you ok trust me" she states calmly "o-ok I trust you" and I did trust her, I mean I ahd paid her to protect me so I inherently trusted her with my life but even deeper than that I trusted her more than I had ever trusted anyone before. "One! Two! Three!" I leap on three as instructed and with her powerful arms she's able to yank me to her, CLANG!! Her war hammer lets a heavy sound as it hits the stone floor but I do not suffer the same fate as I'm caught by Quinara. "Thank you" I whimper feeling safe and secure, "no problem runt, welcome to Corviet" she says dropping me and picking up her war hammer.
