We check in on Gavin and Heather

Gavin Westher was the luckiest man in the world, so why the fuck was he so fucking terrified? Not only had he managed to be paired off with a beautiful cheerleader in a small room, but the cheerleader in question was actually Heather Ravers! He had't told this to anyone, not even Zack or Chloe, but he had an insane crush on that girl! Only the thought of her made his blood boil, and this was also the reason why he was terrified: How could he possibly do anything other than worry about his boner when he was going to be sharing a room with her?

Despite being shy and a bit of a geek, Gavin actually had very good manners and his mother had done a very good job of instilling in him to always treat women with the utmost respect. This is why, despite his shy demeanor, being a gentleman came like second nature to him. Therefore, Gavin just took Heather's suitcase as well as his own and carried them to their bedroom.

Heather Ravers was very surprised by this. While she had talked to Gavin a little bit, he was certainly the member of the group she knew the least about. That there was another side to him than the shy computer genius intrigued her. She had been a little disappointed she wouldn't be sharing a room with Zack or Brandon after the latter had become a possibility with Hannah's objections, but her roommate's sudden showing of initiative quickly made up for that. Now she was looking forward to see whether there were any more surprises in store for her.

When they got to their room, Gavin immediately proceeded to leave the room again. "Thanks so much Gavin, but did you forget something?" Heather inquired. "No, I was just going to get a couple of pillows from the living room so that I can make myself a bed on the floor," Gavin responded. "No way!" exclaimed Heather. "That wouldn't be fair if you were the only person in the house who didn't get to sleep in a bed! This bed is big enough for the both of us!" Heather found it very endearing that Gavin would offer to sleep on the floor for two weeks, which made it even more clear to her that she wanted to share the bed with him.

Gavin couldn't very well refuse Heather's offer, but he did not look forward to the inevitable moment at night when Heather would feel something hard poking her. "Okay, sure, thanks!" he responded, smiling timidly. "So now that that's settled, what are your plans for the rest of the day?" he asked. "I think we should go to the beach right away! The weather is amazing and I am sure the others will have the same idea!" she answered. Caught off guard by the way she included him in that statement as if it were completely obvious, Gavin, who had planned on just working on a math problem for one of his five AP courses he was taking, just started stammering "I... I was just going to..." but Heather interrupted him. "What, you don't want to go? No, I won't accept that! The most important commandment of Ravers Cabin is to have fun and I plan on making sure no roomie of Heather Ravers ever strays from that commandment! So, where are your swimming trunks?"

With that Heather started to go through Gavin's suitcase.
