Wander

You set off in an arbitrary direction, not quite sure where you are or what to look for. You pass more trees and smaller plant life, occasionally stopping to touch one and learn what it is. It seems this process is filling in more than just information about the plants you come into contact with. It feels like more gaps in your knowledge are reliant on this information and they start to tease you from the edge of your mental haze.

Memories of sunlight, the smell of air amongst the trees; you're certain you have been in such a place before, yet you have no sense of time around the recollection.

Ahead you spot a large body of water. It appears to be a sizable distance from where you stand at its shore to the far side. As you extend a tendril carefully into the water, your mind is once more flooded with information and you feel your body changing.

Without a thought you fall to your hands and knees and begin to drink from the water, and you feel a cool refreshing sensation spread through you. Apparently you needed this and were unaware. This concerns you, as you wonder what other needs or sensations you're currently unable to recognize.

You put your hands into the water, and the sensation is indescribable. You can feel things moving in the water. Small scaled animals swimming through it and plants swaying with the movement. You can't tell much about them, but if it moves, you somehow feel it through the water.

There's something else, a bigger creature, covered not in scales, bipedal, swimming on the surface not far away from where you are now.

Your curiosity is rising; this will be unlike any of the other creatures you have encountered so far. The scent is dilluted by the water it moves through, but you like what you smell.
