Visit the Apothecary's Workshop

You head past the city wall, to the outskirts of town. Nestled just inside the woods is a mid-sized building, its roof growing various plants, many of which you don't recognize. You open the door, and the older woman running the place frowns at your entry. "We don't sell here - if you want to purchase some of the finished product they're all in the stores inside the city." "I was hoping maybe you could help me become wiser?" She sighs, "another adventurer, eh? Okay, here's the deal: 100 gold, up front. That will provide for two and a half months of training. And I don't barter; I clearly don't need you here, since I already have an apprentice" she gestures over to a young woman who's currently busy using a mortar and pestle "so don't think you're doing me a favor by 'helping' me out or anything."
